As the amount of chemical use increases, headaches, dizziness, nausea, etc. of unknown reasons occurred. These symptoms were diagnosed as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity/Idiopathic Environmental Intolerance (MCS/IEI) and this increased the interest in MCS/IEI. However, studies on MCS/IEI fall short when compared to all the interest. MCS/IEI can be distinguished by using QEESI, which was developed by Miller and Prihoda in the year 1998. There is data on distinguishing MCS/IEI by using QEESI in other countries, but nearly no data exists in Korea. QEESI in the Korean language was developed in 2012 and was used in this study. |
