A contrastive study on Chinese learners' using of Korean Subject Honorific '-si-'
The main research object of this study was '-si-' which is the most representative in the Korean Subject honorific system. This research's purpose is to show a normal usage of '-si-' thought comparing the standard usage, no- standard usage and off-grammar usage. The results of this study hopes to be an useful research data in Korean teaching.
In the first section, it proposed the purpose of this study and also presented about scope and the method of research.
In the second section, the discussion is the theoretical background of Korean Subject honorific system. And also compared '-si-' the standard usage, no- standard usage and off-grammar usage .
In the third section, I compared and analysed the differences between two groups, one is Korean and Chinese learners group, the other one is students and working people. Thought the comparison research we can know the differences between the groups.
The result of this is intended to be the basic material for the comparison of the usage of the Korean and Chinese learners' differences. Through this , Korean language learners from the Chinese-Speaking country can learn Korean Subject honorific system more effectively.
