This aims to give some reference information on wearing verbs for people who are learning Korean and chinese.
The researched on the comparison of Korean wearing verbs and Chinese wearing verbs, explained their concepts, classifications and features respectively, and thus pointed the similarities and differences between them. It can provide a reliable reference for scholars.
The purpose of this study is to provide learner with clear information about Korean and Chinese vocabulary through contrastive approaches of Korean and Chinese wearing verbs.
As for the Korean wearing verbs and Chinese counterpart were arranged as follows:'입다, 신다, 쓰다, 끼다, 걸다, 차다, 메다, 매다, 하다' and '穿, 戴, 挎, 带, 别, 撃, 裹, 绑, 披, 纏, 打, 围, 簪, 拎, 背, 挂' Among them. The
researched on the comparison of Korean wearing verbs:
'쓰다, 입다, 신다' and Chinese wearing verbs:'穿, 戴'.The analysis was made in connection with wearing objects, because the wearing verbs are closely related with the objects. Korean and Chinese wearing verbs extended meanings and the way of wear and put on objects were shown through the analysis.
As for the Korean verb '입다' and the Chinese verb '穿'. Both can take [upper garment] and [lower garment] and [whole garment] as the key elements of objects, respectively. But the Chinese wearing verb '穿' can take [shoes], [socks] for objects, but the Korean wearing verb '입다' can't. There is also a difference in body parts. Besides, the Korean wearing verb'신다' and the Chinese verb '穿'can take [shoes], [socks] for objects. There is also a common with [foot] part.
The Korean wearing verb '쓰다' and Chinese wearing verb '戴'take [hat], [mask], [glasses] as in common was wearing objects and wearing part as [head], [face]. But in terms of Chinese wearing verb '戴' wearing part were manifold. Explain concretely to division it's difficulty.
