Recently, the medical tourism combining high-quality medical services with tour activities enjoying rest, leisure and culture is suddenly emerged as a new growth-driving industry. As this medical tourism industry integrating the medical service and the tour service is highlighted as a next-generation growth-driving industry, each country all over the world promotes the medical tourism industry as a nationally strategic industry, and fiercely completes each other to occupy the competitive position in this field. Especially, for Korea, different from the past that the supply of medical services absolutely lacked, Korean medical suppliers currently face the situation not taking advantage position against the consumers any longer because the quantitative increase of medical institutions. Due to such environmental changes in medical service industry, Korean medical service suppliers focus their attention on the patents, their consumers, and then the issues like what factors influence on the patents’ selection for medical institutions and their satisfaction on such institutions are importantly emerged. Therefore, this study is purposed to suggest basic data for facilitating Korean medical tourism in order to attract more Chinese medical visitors by identifying the attributes of Chinese medical tourists who visited Korea for plastic surgeries at selecting medical institutions and the causal relations among such attributes with the visitors’ satisfaction, reliability and loyalty on Korean medical institutions, and finding out the most influential one of attributes importantly considered by Chinese medical tourists at selecting a medical institution. In order to accomplish the purpose, this study set the Chinese medical tourists who visited one of 5 medical institutions in Seoul from April 15~30, 2014 as the population. And total 300 copies of questionnaire were distributed toward some Chinese visitors in using the convenience sampling, and used total 293 copies except 7 copies responding faithlessly in the analysis on final data. For statistically calculating the data, the PASW 21.0 Version was used, and as the statistical techniques used for analyzing the data, this study conducted the frequency analysis, the exploratory factor analysis, the reliability analysis, the correlation analysis, and single and multi regression analyses, and drew out the following results.
