Research was done in the state of Chiba, Kimitsu in three different day care facilities where seventy-three Japanese children and twenty-five children in Shinjuku, Tokyo where Japan registered Korean were studied. Research was done from July 14, 2013 through August 1, 2013.
By using eight episode-cards children were asked to voice their opinions on how they viewed these episodes and their thought process behind them.

The object of the study are as follows:

The result of the study are as follows:
First, children recognize fairness as right and unfairness as wrong aspects. These children were fairly aware of what good and bad behavior was and were able to differentiate what was right to do and what not to do. Through this research it was found that children were able to recognize fairness without being taught.
Second, there are three fairness standards for children to judge fairness: following rules, ethical behavior, and of sensitivity for others. Through these research it was able to compare these two groups of children. According to the standards of fairness there are three key fundamental types: impartial, equal, and balance.
In conclusion it was found that both parties shared very, if not very similar thought processes. Environment had a key part in molding these young minds. Growing under the same Japanese culture and rules, we found evidence that these children grow similarly. Through this research it was able to see that under healthy parenting and educated scholar.
