After establishing diplomatic relations between China and Korea in 1992, education in Korean is being deployed in Northeast China, eastern coastal regions, Northern Region, Southern Region and Western Region influenced by the historical, geographical, economical and cultural reasons. According to the record of 2008, Department of Korean Language Education was opened in 76 Universities for four years college courses and the enrollment reached to 13,000 students. Thus, after the establishing diplomatic relations among two counties Korean language education expanded in both countries and Korean Education is needed in entire China provinces gradually.
The Purpose of this is, Korean Education is required in entire china as a foreign language. And again, the balance of quantitative and qualitative education should be made beyond the regional bias. To do this, Korean language textbooks should be met the Chinese education development system urgently. This will help to develop the Korean education in china by analyzing the beginner korean education textbooks of both countries those are being taught.
In this , the analyzed textbook is the beginner level 6 that published both in Korea and China. Textbooks published in Korea were from Seoul National University Language centre in 2013, entitled Seoul Koraen 1 (1A, 1B) (Total 2books) and in 2007, 2 more books were published from Yonsei University Korean language education center entitled Yonsei Korean 1(1-1,1-2). And 2 textbooks were published in China. The Basic Korean Conversation 上 were published by China Yanbian University in 2002 and the Serious interchange standard Korean beginner 1 were published by the People’s Education Publishing.
The summarized contents of this are as follows.
This compared and analyzed the selected textbooks by the external and internal configuration in terms of learning contents selection. Especially the learning content topics, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, these four kind of methods are presented and analyzed in more details and intensive ways.
China has summarized the Korean Language Education based on the results of the analysis. The biggest disadvantages of Korean education in China is considering the test ability than the students korean ability and all textbooks are compiled on grammar based rather than communication skill based. Thus, to configure the external-internal and learning contents problem, this presented and provided the improvements sought to solve those problems and overcome all obstacles.
