A Study on Discourse Markers Education for Improve Korean Language Learners' Speaking Competence

The purpose of this study is to state that discourse markers can be an effective ways for improve korean language learners' speaking competence, and to suggest concrete teaching-learning methods.
First, chapter 1, the purpose of study and precedent studies and study methods are described.
chapter 2, examines the discourse markers Definition, characteristic, function, type and speaking educational usefulness utilizing discourse markers, which are foundations of this study.
chapter 3, the present status of discourse markers Education Through Korean language textbooks are examined. And discourse markers education ways for improve korean language learners' speaking competence are described.
chapter 4, discourse markers education model for improve korean language learners' speaking competence are described. And based on the discourse markers model above, actual lesson plan is proposed.
chapter 5, concludes the thesis, and the meaning of the stud is mentioned.
Finally, I hope this study will be meaningful and useful in korean education.
