This study was designed to enable effective education in short-form passive constructions, ones that are made by affixation and are unfamiliar to foreigners learning Korean, among various grammatical fields in Korean language education. Teaching methods and a course plan were devised to teach typical passive sentences, except passive sentences where agents are omitted or difficult to assume, or untypical passive sentences that are awkward if they have agents. First, an analysis of existing Korean textbooks found that the ways of explanation are different and inconsistent in textbooks, and mere repetition of words cannot assure the efficiency in grammar education. Then, the survey showed that learners have difficulty learning passive verbs made by combining transitive verbs and suffixes. Thus, based on the analysis of textbooks and the survey, it was concluded that the unsystematic teaching of passive verbs should be eliminated, and not inculcation focusing only on repetition but making learners search for a list of regular passive verbs can help learners to understand the combination of suffixes with transitive verbs. This study can contribute to developing the educational methods in short-form passive sentences in Korean language education. ,韩语论文,韩语论文 |
