This study examined the subject restriction, predicate restriction, meaning and character of linking endings and closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ as the ending use ability is of importance in teaching grammar in Korean language. Linking ending is necessary to be taught to learners in Korean, and each function is taught separately when an ending has both linking ending and closing ending. Despite the difference of linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ and closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？, actually it was taught by only in linking ending. Thus this study aimed to find out differences between linking endings and closing endings for its subject restriction, predicate restriction, meaning and character.
In chapter 1, it reviewed previous studies of linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ to figure out necessity and objective of the study.
In chapter 2, it examined basic meaning and differences by subject restriction, predicate restriction, meaning and character of linking ending of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？. It confirmed that linking ending ？-eureo？ has been under synthetic restriction according to meaning of subject, and linking endings of ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ did not. It is because ？-euryeogo？ sentences may have expectation and anticipation in addition to [Intention] and [ojbective] different to ？-eureo？ sentences. The linking sentence ？-eureo？ has many restriction of predicate between prior paragraph and post paragraph, while linking endings of ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ proved no restriction. Linking endings of ？-eureo？ have [Intention]․[Objective], and chapter 2 proved that linking endings of ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ includes [expectation] in addition to [intention]․[objective].
Chapter 3 examined the differences of closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ and linking endings of them in terms of the subject restriction, predicate restriction, meaning and character. The closing ending of ？-eureo？ is restrictive in that the prior paragraph and post paragraph has same subject, and the quality of subject is [/animate], and it proved that closing ending of ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ has no restriction. Thanks to the difference to linking endings, while linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ are impossible to combine to prior word ending, linking ending of ？-euryeogo？ is confirmed the possibility of combine with prior words such as ？-att-/-eott-？. In case of closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？, it was confirmed to link to ？-yo？ in general respective word. Closing endings of ？-eureo？ and ？-euryeogo？ has also [expectation], and closing ending of ？-euryeogo？ is used as doubt and cross-question of the given situation.
In chapter 4, it examined the linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ in the textbook and endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ in the dictionary. While linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ have refereed in every elementary textbook, there is no textbook that deal with closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？. Accordingly, it examined how linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？ are taught and suggested instruction method.
This study is of importance as it examined the differences between closing endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？, which have not been dealt in many grammar books or textbooks, and linking endings of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？, and suggested the teaching method to apply for the Korean education.
This study also found that more specified discussion on bird, fish, insect, wood, microcosm and cells when any list is suggested by the classification of nomrs with the subject restriction of ？-eureo？, ？-euryeo？ and ？-euryeogo？.
