The purpose of this study is to provide and develop Korean Cultural Education program for students in Cambodian University through the Short-term Volunteer Activity Programs.
Chapter 1 introduces the purpose of this study, the brief history and the necessity of Korean Cultural Education and the curriculum for students in Cambodian University.
Chapter 2 generally describes the present situation of Short-term Volunteer Activity and Korean education of Cambodia Universities.
Chapter 3 shows the survey of the necessity for Korean Cultural Education for university students in Korea and Cambodia.
Research producers and subjects on needs analysis are provided, then the written questionnaire are followed. On describing questionnaire, the procedure, content and analysis tool for the data are mentioned in detail.
Chapter 4 analyzes the survey of Korean Cultural Education program through Short-term Volunteer Activity. The questionnaire analysis has several variables. It is categorized into two groups by sex, grade, major, Korean teaching experience, a purpose of Korean study, ect. The necessity of the curriculum and the differences of nees between groups are also described.
Chapter 5 analyzes the statistic results of the questionnaire with students in Cambodian University. I suggest the new desired Korean Cultural Education program on the basis of the research result.
Chapter 6 summarizes this study and the suggested new curriculum based on this analytic results, and provides with the limit of this study and the suggestion of a following study.
This study can be utilized as a basic material for the curriculum development for students in Cambodian University through Short-term Volunteer Activity Programs. It can also contribute to Korean Cultural Education program for local educational situation.
