We have regarded people in Korea as a lineage and a single nation, but according to the advent of a multi-cultural society in Korea, married immigrant women, as a member of the family and society, have an important role. It is essential to communicate with their family for their stable and healthy settlement in our society. Because Korean language education and communication can be foundation for comfortable settlement in life of Korea for married immigrant women ,strangers in the land of South Korea, and their families, so that's the reason that it should continually challenge as a significant task.
The vocabulary occupies an important place in Korean language education, Specially, in the case of coming with nothing to prepare for our language married immigrant women, they usually converse with people through using vocabularies, so the importance of words are amplified .
This study is in progress after I supposed that it takes advantage of mind mapping for married immigrant women in the Korean language as vocabulary learning strategies. I try to consider married immigrant women who are not easy approachable Korean language, so I want to make them not to spend memorizing vocabulary but naturally to expand learning with interest beyond learning.
The first chapter presents research purposes, and Korean vocabulary training and looked at previous studies about mind mapping. By examining the published s and the need for Korean vocabulary learning materials development, effective vocabulary learning, mind mapping utilizing had a lot of diverse disciplines. However, the Korean education comes to mind mapping rare-related research so I feel needs of the research to find out.
In Section 2, I look at the concept of mind mapping and characterization, structure, and how to write about. Because mind map has already been made by extensive research in various fields based on the Korean vocabulary learning. I give it to married immigrant women to apply mind mapping to take advantage of educational methods and I present a positive expected effects.
Section 3, I suggest that the lesson plan based on mind mapping for married immigrant women has applied in Korean visiting teaching lessons for effective vocabulary instruction. In more detail, I make direct vocabulary teaching plans and indirect vocabulary teaching plans that is divided by listening, speaking, reading writing, grammar, etc.
Section 4, after completing Lesson of mind mapping I investigated surveys and interviews to help the interests of learners participation, self-confidence regarding availability . As a result, the interests of learners for classes of mind mapping, participation showed a positive result, but in case of less than two years to come to Korea for Korean elementary learners' confidence of Korean, there was no significant change comes. After class, mind mapping and writing data were analyzed. As a result, because of elementary students, students are not free to saying, writing about writing. But they can write without fear of challenge and can perform it through mind mapping activities, including vocabulary. Thus, I can confirm the effect of education of mind mapping utilized.
