This study is on effective teaching method to raise the ability of mid-level of Korean language learners for words and reading comprehension at the same time, after researching on what effect is being made by teachers' expressive collocation teaching method onto the promotion of their reading comprehension. For it, this study set questions as below and analyzed the results; Research Question 1. It is to research what kind of co-relation their collocation understanding has with their general reading comprehension ability. To research their collocation understanding, 20 of collocation list was chosen after analyzing five volumes of mid-level Korean language text books, 「Collocation Dictionary for Korean Language Education」(2007), and 「Analyzation and Research on Korean language textbooks」(2005) of the national institute of the Korean language. Next, correlation analysis of collocation understanding score and reading comprehension score was done on 79 subjects of middle and high level, and positive correlation was found that the higher their collocation understanding, the higher their reading comprehension score they had. Therefore, it was found that the higher their collocation understanding, the higher reading comprehension they had. Research Question 2. It was researched on the effect of Teachers' Explicit collocation teaching to raise reading comprehension ability of mid-level Korean learners. For it, for seven weeks for the experimental group, the goal words in the reading text was taught for collocation teaching with various method relating with collocation; and for the control group, definition-centered word teaching was done for one-to-one corresponding dictionary definition for the goal words. And, their raising ability for before and after reading comprehension score were researched by ANCOVA and t-test for correspondi ng samples by SPSS. And, the result shows that average 3 score was increased in the control group but it was found that there was no statistically significant meaning because it showed no big difference between before and after. Meanwhile, in the experimental group, statistically significant meaning was found with increase of 7.91 score. In other words, the increase of collocation-centered learning group was higher, and the collocation teaching was more effective on reading comprehension of learners. This research found out that collocation understanding of words was more effective vocabulary learning than understanding of individual words, and that, for teachers' teaching of vocabulary, learners' natural understanding of the collocation in the text is effective. In spite of the limit by experimental process and period, this research has suggesting points of the possibility of practical collocation research in Korean language education as well. And, it is meaningful that it can be an opportunity to prepare the basic foundation for collocation research of various theme in the future. ,免费韩语论文,韩语论文 |
