No wonder with the successfully hosted Seoul Olympic Game in 1988 and FIFA World Cup in 2002, Korean has become one of the most popular language in the world, which could be demonstrated by the thousands of oversea students come from all over the world to study Korean language each year, it also promoted the research on Korean accent teaching. However, as the biggest neighbor-China, though there are so many people who like listening Korean music and watching Korean drama, which made them more eager to learn Korean language, the education and research on pronunciation of Chinese learners is still not enough, especially for the advanced learners. As a Chinese born Korean, I have a completed understanding of what the problem the Chinese learners may have, the reality that may cause the errors and how to minimize these errors from the Korean pronunciation trainings, that is why I have this .
Through comparing the consonants and vowels system, the syllables of the Korean and Chinese characters, chapter 2 tries to find out the details of difference between consonants and vowels of Korean and Chinese, the difference between syllable structures.
Chapter 3 focus on the concrete errors that Chinese learners may make on the Korean pronounciation. Especially the errors on the initial, the medial and the final of a Korean orthographic syllable, the errors on the phonological structure of the word, and also the errors may occur in the suprasegmental phenomenon, and of course the errors always be found on the intonation.
Chapter 4, according to the above analysis, I tried to find out a professional method of teaching and divided the Korean pronunciation education models into five parts, I also tried to find out some popular and effective way to teach Korean accent.
Ultimately, the purpose of the is to minimize the errors that the Chinese Korean pronunciation learners may make and I would be satisfied with even the minimal help it may offer.
