As for the statistical analysis method of this research, structural equation model analysis method was adopted. A model analysis method is a multivariate statistical analysis method to analyze a systematic theory on a phenomenon, and a statistical analysis method mainly used to verify a hypothesis. A structural equation model combines factor analysis and regression analysis to analyze cause and effect. This analysis methods was used because of its merit iin testing the empowerment variables of internationally married immigrant women that structured equation model tests not only inter-constructs relationship and inter-factors relationship verifying the effect of social support on participation in the society, the influence of social support on empowerment, and the effect of social participation on empowerment, but also inspects the relation among social support, participation in the society and empowerment in the total model, compared to multiple regression analysis, independent samples t-test, and one-way anova, which are used in general.
