The classifier of Korean Word is very complicated and difficult more than other national language word's, so there's lots of confused to study this. So we need to find some efficient way to study classification of Korean words.
But since now most usual studying about words classifier, they only compared with other languages classifier or find its character. So we can't adapt it our class work cause that usual research materials are not quite systematic. And also, there's lots of different things between our real life and that investigation. Because of this situation, we can't use this general theory efficiently.
So this manuscript will try to grade this theory into degree, and make an efficient way to study and instruct those things. To achieve these intention, our investigation is inquired into the view from the education of Korean words classifier as a foreign language. And also we examine the classifier way in all teaching materials from the Korean Universities educational institutions and discuss about the problems that in general in those books.
On the basis of our own argument, we sampled 90 species of classifier that based on lots of variety texts, and graded these things into each degree of their difficulty. Also we draw up how to instruct our classifier way efficiently in curriculum of studying Korean. This teaching way is focused on these things. accidences. linguistics, semantics and activities.
The education plan that focused on accidence and linguistics is the way to prove our ability to analyze the word using lump of words, derivations, and the compound words. And the other methods that focused on semantics will be educated by using dictionary and category of words. Learners can understand the meaning of words clearly, by using their intellectual work. And also if people use their intellectual work, they can understand the relationships between words and meanings. So they can make that meaning of words be elaborated. Lastly, teaching based on activities are based on role-changing and assignments. This increases the efficiency of learning and also boosts bilateral activity between students, or between student and professor.
This manuscript describes this classifier rules in partial stages for people who are studying Korean as a foreign language. Moreover because it has described classifier rules and lightened the path of classifier education with actual teaching methods, it is very meaningful.
In this research, however, we have some things out of our mind about we couldn't discuss about classifier of loanword using in Korea. So our next research about words classifier will be extended whole words using in Korea, not only about our own korean word or the word written in chinese characters but also the others that using other languages. These shortage will be completed in next investigation, and I want to complete the frame of those education that about classification, that can be applied the education of Korean as a foreign language.
