The purpose of this research exists in observing the structure, semantic role and combination method of the verb derivation suffix of both Korean and Mongolian languages, and in comparing the difference and similarities of the 2 forementioned. In the 1st chapter, I have included the researches done previously and its outcomes. In the 2nd chapter, I have categorized the verb derivation suffixes by its possible roots. Since there isn’t sufficient research done on this subject in Mongolian I have attempted to organize them in this chapter. During the process of categorizing the stem and roots, I have encountered occasions where these two languages had differences. In Mongolian, one can combine verb, derivation suffix onto numeral and exclamation roots, however this cannot be applied in Korean languages. In the 3rd chapter, I have compared the meaning of the words derived from the verb suffixes when combined onto verb, noun, numeral, adjective, adverb; thus doing so I have outlined these processes in great detail. As an outcome of this research I was able to uncover that "dual suffix", a phenomenon which is quiet common in Mongolian language, is distinctive to Korean language. In Mongolian language, one can combine causative suffix in an indirect way to the adjective, in other words one can first combine the passive suffix and then one is able to do double combination. Therefore, I was able to summarize that, to come up with an agreeable counterpart in Mongolian for a meaning which is created by the use of single suffix in Korean language, one has to do the double suffix process. The common occurences which happen in any language have significant similarities in these two languages by its semantic role, structure and suffix. ,韩语毕业论文,韩语论文 |
