Two countries not only have a long and close communications on many aspects, such as many grammar and conversation books concerning Chinese and Korean have been published, but also exist a lot of the same types of Chinese characters between their words by reason of the uniform cultural area they belong to, but we have seldom found comparing the two languages indeed. Therefore the main thesis will study classifiers from which appear their languages.
In Korean, there are many classifiers have been found as certain units which counted people or things or the number of times of movements. So is Chinese. Both of two languages' expressions of quantifier are described by classifiers. At this point, The Chinese learners who study Korean will understand the meaning of classifiers easily. The same way, the Korean learners who study Chinese will get the similar effects. However, the learners who study Korean or Chinese will meet difficulties when they study classifiers since the same forms of their classifiers have the different meanings and usages. So, the main article tends to research the comparison of the two languages' classifiers of meanings and usages.
