IT technology is now a key tool for deciding corporate competitiveness. Most corporations are trying to adapt to new technology circumstances where it has been changed rapidly. And We are promoting various information projects to apply that to the inside of companies and use them as management tools. IT project that the company promotes is costly and time consuming. However, according to NIPA (2014) survey, the success rate of IT projects is below 50%, and the success rate of manufacturing companies is lower than other industries. This study aims to increase the success rate of the project. In particular, we analyzed the manufacturing companies whose success rate is lower than those of other industries. In order to analyze the factors affecting the informatization project of the manufacturing company, the ordering company, the contracting company and the project environment factor were set as independent variables. The clarity of the requirements, and the level of IT technology of the ordering company were set as the sub - variables of the ordering company factor, IT technology level of the contracting company and PM leadership were set as sub-variables of the contracting company factor, the complexity of the project. And the sensitivity of the external environment change were set as the sub - variables of the project environment factor variables. Communication was set as a control variable and the influence relation with project performance was analyzed. The empirical analysis is based on the survey that results of the recent projects that have been completed by the experienced people who have experienced the informatization project of the manufacturing company. The research hypothesis was verified through multiple regression analysis. The analysis shows that the accuracy of the requirements and the level of IT technology of the ordering & contracting company had a positive impact on project performance, sensitivity to changes in external environment has been confirmed to have a negative impact on project performance. The suitability factors of the contract, PM leadership, and project complexity factors were found to have no significant effect on performance. In the control effect analysis, It has been confirmed that the communication factors have a controlling effect on the ordering company factors and the project environment factors. But It is confirmed that there is no control effect on the relationship with the ordering company factor. Based on the results of this study, the following suggestions can be made to improve the success rate of informatization projects of manufacturing companies. First, it is necessary to clarify the requirements of the project. It is necessary to minimize changes during task execution through sufficient preliminary investigation from planning stage of informatization project because the project success rate may be reduced if the scope of the task specified in the initial proposal request is changed. Second, it is necessary to understand the proper level of IT technology regardless of contracting and ordering companies. The ordering company considers only the development capability of the contracting company as important, administrators without IT knowledge are deployed often Occasionally. It should be noted that this can be a major cause of project delays. The contracting company should arrange sufficient manpower to develop, and, In order to improve the skills of the company's personnel, the company should provide education and support. Third, it is necessary to ensure smooth communication between contractors and contractors. No matter how clear the project requirements are, detailed negotiations for actual development with the contracting firm may not be successful, which can seriously affect the overall schedule. Especially for projects that are sensitive to changes in the external environment, It can be said that it is important.Therefore, it is necessary for the number and ordering companies not only to consider the variables that affect the project performance, but also to ensure that the project can proceed smoothly through the arrangement of the personnel who can communicate smoothly. Informatization projects require a lot of time and money. Failure to complete the project within a fixed schedule may lead to a loss of cost , the necessary information can not be utilized in a timely manner. which may lead to a decrease in competitiveness of the enterprise. It is expected that the results of this study can be applied to manufacturing company informatization project and We expect to be able to get closer to improving competitiveness through technology utilization.
