예술 범주의 확장과 매체의 발달로 우리는 이전보다 다양한 예술작품들을 접할 수 있게 되었다. 그 중 인간의 본능으로부터 발현된 움직임으로 만들어지는 무용예술 중 대중으로의 접근이 ... 예술 범주의 확장과 매체의 발달로 우리는 이전보다 다양한 예술작품들을 접할 수 있게 되었다. 그 중 인간의 본능으로부터 발현된 움직임으로 만들어지는 무용예술 중 대중으로의 접근이 가장 용이하고, 누구나 즐겁게 즐길 수 있는 스트릿 댄스가 짧은 역사임에도 불구하고 많은 발전과 성과를 이뤄내며 젊은 에너지의 대표문화로 각광받고 있다. 또한 성악, 오페라가 대중음악이었던 시대에서 팝, 뮤지컬이 대중음악으로 바뀌듯 이제 현대에서 비보잉, 락킹, 얼반 등의 스트릿 댄스가 발레, 고전무용 보다는 훨씬 대중들에게 친숙하다는 것은 이미 모두 알고 있을 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 길거리 춤으로 오인되어 저급문화의 표본인양 치부되고 마는 스트릿 댄스의 인식변화와 선두적인 트렌드 문화로써의 향후 발전방안에 대해 여러 명의 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 현 시장에 대한 분석으로 활성화 방안을 도출하였다. 첫째, 정례화 된 통합시장을 형성하고 이를 확대해야 한다. 스트릿 댄스가 힙합, 스트릿이라는 큰 문화 속 하나의 카테고리 이기도 하고, 무형의 예술로 추상적 개념이기 때문에 많은 사람들이 보다 쉽게 이해할 수 있고 접근할 수 있는 통합적인 장이 필요하다. 둘째, 예술교육 정책을 보다 확대하여 시행한다. 현재의 예술교육 정책도 좋지만, 많은 예술교육 선진국들의 시스템을 우리나라 실정에 맞게 도입하여 청소년들의 미래와 나아가 국가경쟁력의 제고를 위한 기반을 형성할 수 있도록 한다. 셋째, 사회적인 인식개선과 예술의 다양성 인정을 인정하도록 하는 것이다. 교육, 광고, 축제, 메스미디어 노출 등 다양한 방법을 통해 예술에 대한 편협한 사고를 자연스럽게 탈피할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 넷째, 스트릿 댄서의 교육 프로그램을 마련하는 것이다. 제도적 개선이나 대중들뿐만 아니라 스트릿 댄서들 역시 예술가로써, 문화를 이끌어가는 리더이자 구성원으로써, 미래를 책임질 청소년들의 좋은 교육자로써 충분한 자질을 갖추기 위해 스트릿 댄스 씬의 발전뿐만 아니라 이와 관련된 외적 요소들에 대해서도 끊임없이 연구할 필요가 있다. 이러한 스트릿 댄스의 활성화 방안을 제시하며 본 연구가 스트릿 댄스를 직업으로 가진 댄서들의 권익이 보장되는 제도 재정과 인식 변화를 촉구하고, 스트릿 댄스를 통해 청소년들의 몸과 마음의 상상력과 예술성을 발휘할 수 있도록 돕는 통로가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

Also, street dance represents culture of young energy with huge development and results despite the fact that it has short history in dance. Also as the popular music era has been changed from classical concert and opera to pop music and musical concert, street dance which are b-boying, locking, urban dance, etc. is already known to be more popular in modern times than ballet or classical dance. Nonetheless, the analysis of the current market for street dance is considered to be a clear example of low-graded culture because the dance originated from street. So, I have come up with an analysis of how to analyze the current dance market through interviews with street dancers for changing the view of street dance and developing the street dance as leading trend culture. First, we need to build a regular integrated market and expand it. Street dance is a category of hip hop and street culture, and is necessary to build solutions for many people to understand easily about the dance genre because it is abstract art and also intangible art. Second, it needs to implement art education policy. Current art education policy has no problem, but we could have an enhanced art education system by adapting from advanced countries. It will establish the basis for the future of the youth and secure competitiveness of the nations. Third, recognize social recognition and accept the diversity of arts. The awareness of street dance should be changed from bigotry through various methods such as education, advertising, festival, media exposure, etc. Forth, education programs should be settled for street dancers. Not only general audiences but also street dancers need to consider development of street dance and external factors, and continuously study as artists, leaders and members of leading culture, and educators who required have responsibilities for youth.
