본 연구는 여성골프지도자가 사회화 과정에서 겪게 되는 갈등, 스트레스와 그 대처방법에 대한 의미를 분석하고자 한다. 사회화 과정에서 겪게 되는 갈등 및 스트레스의 원인과 유형을 파악... 본 연구는 여성골프지도자가 사회화 과정에서 겪게 되는 갈등, 스트레스와 그 대처방법에 대한 의미를 분석하고자 한다. 사회화 과정에서 겪게 되는 갈등 및 스트레스의 원인과 유형을 파악하고 이러한 문제에 효과적으로 대처하기 위한 대처방법을 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 접근을 통해 지도자로서의 삶을 살아가기 위해서 당면하는 문제점들을 사전에 해결 하거나 슬기롭게 대처할 수 있는 방안들을 마련할 수 있기 때문이다. 특히 여성지도자의 경우 남성에 비해 상대적으로 성적인 차별이나 부당한 대우 등의 문제에 직면하기 쉽기 때문에 이 원인과 현상을 파악하고 이러한 현상에 효과적으로 대처하고 또한 이를 개선하기 위한 개인적, 사회적 해결방안을 제시하는 것이 여성골프지도자들의 경력개발에 중요한 기여를 할 것이기 때문이다. 본 연구를 위하여 질적 연구의 현상학적 분석을 토대로 연구를 진행하였다. 현상학은 인간의 경험을 분석하는데 유용하게 적용되는 방법으로 참여자의 경험을 지향하여 그 의미를 포함한 본질을 밝히는 것을 말한다. 연구참여자 6명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였고, 연구참여자에게 연구의 목적과 방법들을 설명한 뒤 연구참여동의서를 작성하고 난 뒤 연구를 진행하였다. 구체적으로 연구 참여자에 대한 면담을 진행한 후 면담 내용을 녹취하여 녹취록에서 나온 내용을 연구의 기초자료로 활용하였다. 녹취록 내용을 분석한 결과 총 144개의 개념어와 25개의 하위범주와 7개의 상위범주로 나타났다. 여성골프프로에 대한 인식, 상사와의 갈등, 레슨에서의 갈등, 골프지도자라기 보다 여성, 전문화를 위한 전략, 지도자의 덕목, 만족감과 갈등해결방안의 내용들이 있었다. 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 네가지의 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 여성골프지도자들의 갈등은 다양한 주변 요소에서 발생하였다. 특히 골프참여자, 직장에서의 선임자, 스스로에 대한 갈등 등으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 여성골프지도자들은 성적인 불평등에 노출되어 있다. 직장상사, 동료지도자, 골프참여자 등으로부터 성추행에 노출되어 있으며, 성추행의 내용은 주로 음담패설을 중심으로 이루어지는 경우도 많았다. 심하게는 영상을 보내거나, 스폰서 제의 등 불편한 과정을 겪었다. 셋째, 여성골프지도자들의 경우 골프에 대한 전문가로써의 노력과 리더로써의 노력을 기울였다. 많은 갈등이나 스트레스를 극복하기 위하여 스스로에 대한 철학적 사명과 레슨의 질을 높이기 위한 방안을 마련하는 현상이 나타났다. 넷째, 여성골프프로와 지도자에 대한 부정적 인식을 개선하기 위하여 각 여성골프지도자를 관리하는 기관이 중심이 되어 여성골프지도자에 대한 윤리교육과 지도자로써의 철학적 기강을 강화시킬 수 있는 교육이 필요하다. 결론적으로, 여성골프지도자들이 문화적, 사회적인 배경을 극복하고, 이를 바탕으로 골프에 대한 티칭공부나 리더로써의 자리를 강화하는 전략이 이들이 성공적으로 지도자로서의 사회화 및 경력개발을 이루어낼 수 있는 요인이 되었다. 따라서 여성 골프지도자에 대한 여성평등에 관한 활동이 필요하며, 이에 대한 대책방안들을 법적 차원에서도 검토할 필요가 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the means to cope with the conflicts and stress that female golf instructors are facing in the process of socializing the status of female golf instructors. The study aims to understand the type and reasons of their stress, conflict and furthermore, suggest a way to effectively react to these problems. The reason behind this is because this approach can relieve the problems in advance or enable them to sensibly react to these issues as they proceed with their career as an instructor. It will also contribute to the career development of female instructors because the objective of this study is to propose an individual and social solution to better this issue because women are likely to be discriminated and it is necessary to comprehend the reason behind this phenomenon. The study was based on a phenomenological analysis within the qualitative research. Phenomenology focuses on indentifying the meaning of a phenomenon through the participant’s experience and is widely used to analyze experience. There were six participants and the study was conducted after the participants had fully comprehended and consented to the purpose and method of the research. The baseline data of the research was based on the recorded tapes of the face-to-face talks that was conducted with the participants. By analyzing the tapes, 136 concepts, 26 subcategories and 7 upper categories were found. The specific contents were the perception of female golf professionals, conflicts with their superiors, conflicts during lessons, the obstructions of perceiving only the image of a female instructor rather than a professional instructor, strategies for specialization, virtues for an instructor, satisfaction, and conflict solution methods. Four conclusions were derived from the results of our analysis. First, the conflicts that female golf instructors face occurred from various surrounding elements. These conflicts occurred within the interaction with the golf participants, senior members, and the instructor themselves. Second, female golf instructors were easily exposed to sexual discrimination. They are more likely to be exposed to sexual assault from their boss, colleagues, and golf participants and there were also cases where they had withstand sexual jokes. They also felt discomfort from people who send sexual images or sending them sponsorship proposals. Third, female instructors are specialized instructors in their field and they did put their best efforts as an instructor and as a leader. It was shown that the instructors spend hours to enhance the quality of their lessons and philosophy in order to overcome these conflicts and stress.. Fourth, it is necessary to build an organization that can manage these female instructors by strengthening their discipline as a leader and providing ethics educations in order to improve the negative perceptions of female golf professionals and instructors. As a result, there is a desperate need to overcome the negative social and cultural background of female golf instructors, so they can successfully carry on their career as a leader and instructor.
