This study is to analyze and investigate the current status and trends of culture and art supporting of the domestic companies in Korea from 2005 to 2013. Companies resolve the social issue and go to improve people's lives better voice that the government should have the sense of responsibility. For improving people’s life much more and relieving the issues of the society, there is an increasingly loud call for having responsibilities to companies. Specially, they were necessary factors that’s why Culture & Art, major factors in economic revival, raise national competitiveness and enriches people’s lives. In modern society, without culture development, the economy can be limit. While many academic professions share the opinion that culture and art raise national competitiveness, improve the people’s lives, and are necessary to develop the country, in the last nine years, through the mecenat on domestic, the size is not increased considerably. Social awareness to expand the bottom of the culture and Arts is an important work, in order to that, it needs absolutely the government, using the power and increasing the autonomy of culture and arts supporting of the corporate, and culture and art field’s effort. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status and trends of the culture and arts supporting on the domestic corporate. The direction made by the supporting activities and interesting on the culture and arts of the domestic corporate is the status of the mecenat and is the opportunity to know what movement is in the needs and change of time. Therefore, civilian sectors that can be raising national competitiveness, analyzing the culture and arts supporting trends of corporate is to important study been the evidence of mecenat activities. For this purpose, based on an annual for nine years (from 2005 to 2013) in Korea mecenat association and Corporate community relations white book that the Federation of Korean Industries published, this study organize the status of culture and arts supporting and CSR of the corporate, comparative analysis of the status of CSR and cultural and arts supporting, the status by culture and arts fields, culture and arts supporting management status, and draw a conclusion using analysis technique, such as percentage and adding up, graph of sectoral data. By figuring out which any changes appeared, based on culture and arts supporting status in corporate, it is considered to draw the conclusion the corporation Maecenas application items to solidarity and collaboration of the corporation and culture and arts. First, culture and arts supporting of the domestic corporate was limited in several areas. On support area selecting, it needs a creative and unique cultural content support. The Corporation have to try to survive of the culture and arts and do respond actively to globalization by supporting fine art field having our prominent parts and sublating to lean too much toward culture and arts. Secondly, the culture and Arts supporting of the domestic corporation is, mostly focused on the conglomerate, 80 to 90 percent being support rates of the top 20 corporations. It is clarified and strengthen the benefits of participation for the expansion of participation on culture and arts support of small and medium-sized enterprise. It needs absolutely to try to expand continuously through mecenat or education to staff in charge or member of staff in corporation. To make arrangement an efficient administrative framework on the professional post, preferentially, it sets up the manpower supplement considered linking to the professional task of culture and arts support area. It is distributed along in the task connection and fitness of employee for office. Fifth, in order to raise social awareness about sponsor of the company's culture, it needs to a multi-pronged advertise on the mecenat. It will help to suggest the direction of the corporation mecenat to investigate about the status and trends of culture and arts supporting of the corporate for nine years. Based on such things, when domestic companies, cultural and arts organizations, and artistic parameters try to have interest, the culture and arts support activities of the corporate can live up to enlargement.
