The purpose of this thesis is to explore the social ramifications and the role of art auctions. It studies background causes of the rapid growth of art auctions by examining the systematic structure and the historical development of the art market since the mid-18th century when the social conception of ‘fine art’ as today was established. Through the process, this study addresses the positive functions of art auctions in the market and grasps their institutional problems including the sociological critiques on them. As a conclusion, this thesis will suggest practical remedies to improve these problems and at the same time how to enhance their positive influences in popularizing the art market. ，韩语论文，韩语论文范文 |
