Countless lights exist in the earth. To be able to classify the lights visually, we used to express them in color terms. Every language has several types of color terms. The concept and the type of basic color terms are different from each other. According to the way of recognizing the color of a country, not only the distinct characteristic, culture and emotion of the language can be perceived, but the way of thinking and propensity of the people in that country are able to become an interesting education from the side of the sociolinguistics. There are thousands of colors. This study is finding out the basic meaning of the basic color term and the extended third meaning, and meaningful education is needed. In addition, to recognize the society, history, emotion, literature and the cultural factors of that country, we, as the second language learner, can only face the big difficulty . The basic color term of Korean is divided into five types by the yin-yang and the Five Elements. We can find out that the origin derived from the Buddhism. The Myanmar is also affected by the religious. Through the Buddhism, it can be seen that the concept, awareness or symbolic meaning of the basic tone change. Not only the basic meanings of two languages originally have, but the metonymy and gentleness become applicable and two languages are extending other society related meanings. Despite of the distinct cultural feature, all other distinct features of two languages can be seen due to the historical background and changes. Therefore, the tone and the related study of Korean are actively realized in 1990s. Although the content and the result of the study are diverse and abundant, they focus on the mother language while it is carrying the limitation in fact. As a second language, when it is compared with other languages, it cannot recognize the obvious difference and the common points. Also, the existence of the cultural modification is considered and the generalized color term expression is selected to be the target of basic color term study. By analyzing the contrast between Korean and Myanmar, the meaning of the study is put into the place where better education is implemented. In this study, among all the unlimited colors, the five basic color terms in every language was considered as the target of this study. Color term contains its own system in different languages while it is an interesting point to see different aspects from each other with different linguistics and social cultural backgrounds. Thus, as identical color can transfer different meanings, it can also be complicated. According to the alignment of each color terms, it shows the basic meaning, morphologic structure, cognitive linguistic idiomatic expression and lexicon. Moreover, the linguistic characteristics and cultural characteristics that Korean and Myanmar have are examined. The word order of Korean and Myanmar (subject/ object/ predicate) is similar. On the contrast, in the vocabulary region, Korean has many Chinese characters, while Myanmar is affected by the native language or Pali that most of the lexicons use in written language but not in the daily life. However, using the academic value as a standard, if the langauge learners also want to improve the command of language, but not only the communication ability, it is seen that many educational resources are needed. Therefore, to implement efficient education to the learners, education plan is suggested as well. Consequently, according to the color terms and lexicons of Korean and Myanmar in this study, it is decided to compare the basic meaning, symbolic meaning and form. If it is said that lexicon has different distinct characteristics in developmental language, many expression methods also deliver their own specific symbols. In other words, although created symbolic meaning also has the common part from a color; it is also shown that there are opposite parts. It is aimed to compare the basic color lexicons of two languages. The division and meaning of color terms are explained separately that realized the study in details. Furthermore, the analysis and supplementation of other learners’study result will be made an attempt while Korean education is possible to practically applied. By means of the similarity and difference of both languages, to solve the present limitation in the expression of the color terms has, basic color terms guidance plan is presented through the investigation of awareness. The aim of this study hereby is to propel the exchange of Korean and Myanmar to become active through the color lexicons. Also, it can be a help to the learners on having fluent communication from now on and prospect to be used as an easier and better education resource.
