본 연구는 제2언어 교육에서 다양하게 활용되고 있는 삽화의 중요성을 확인하고, 한국어교재에서의 삽화가 활용되는 현황을 분석하여, 한국어 학습자들을 위한 교재 내 삽화의 활용 방안을 ... 본 연구는 제2언어 교육에서 다양하게 활용되고 있는 삽화의 중요성을 확인하고, 한국어교재에서의 삽화가 활용되는 현황을 분석하여, 한국어 학습자들을 위한 교재 내 삽화의 활용 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 교재에서의 삽화를 말할 때에는 본문의 내용을 보충하거나 추상적인 사실의 이해를 돕기 위한 설명의 구실을 하는 각종 사진, 그림, 도표, 연표, 문헌자료 등을 총칭하는 시각자료를 지칭한다. 또한 교재에 제시되는 삽화는 학습 내용을 보충할 뿐만 아니라 목표언어의 문화도 반영하고 있어 학습에 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 그럼에도 한국어 교육에서의 삽화에 관한 연구는 아직 미진한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습자에게는 학습 내용을 이해를 돕고, 교사에게는 좋은 학습 도구가 되는 한국어교재 내 삽화를 분석함으로써 한국어 교육에서 삽화가 다양하게 활용될 수 있도록 도움이 되고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the importance of the illustration in various use for 2nd language education, and to analyze the current status of illustrations in use for Korean language textbooks, and to pursue the utilization measures thereof in the textbooks for Korean language learners. The word ‘illustration’ when used in a textbook comprehensively means the visual materials comprised of various photos, diagrams, tables, chronological tables, literatures that performs the function of supplementing the main text or explaining to support understanding of any abstract facts. In addition, the illustrations presented in the textbooks perform very significant function in learning, as illustrations not only supplements the learning contents but also reflects the culture of the target language. Nevertheless, precedent studies on illustration in Korean language education is still scarce. Accordingly, this study analyzes the illustrations in Korean language textbooks that provide support in understanding of tuition contents to learners, and becomes a good learning tool to teachers, in order to contribute to Korean language education through diverse use of illustrations The contents of the study is composed as follows; Section 1 reviews the reason for and purpose of using an illustration in Korean language education. The illustration in language education textbooks performs the function of leading to proper linguistic knowledge by analogy and understanding through illustration, when learners fail to grasp the contents of the phrases due to their insufficient language capacity. Therefore, for learners who learn Korean language as a foreign language, the illustrations in the textbook are important learning contents. In this regard, this study reviews the necessity of using illustration in Korean language education. Section 2 reviews precedent studies on illustration, and the function thereof in language education as well as its educational effect. Furthermore, the function of illustration in Korean language education is pursued. Section 3 analyzes the Korean language textbooks published most recently. The analysis object per institution comprises Kyunghee University’s ‘Kyunghee Korean language’, Seoul National University’s ‘Seoul National University Korean language’ and Korea University of Foreign Studies’ ‘Korean language for foreigners’. This study analyzes 14 intermediate class textbooks of the three institutions. The purpose of analysis is to find out how illustrations are currently used in Korean language textbooks, and then to analyze the characteristics and problems thereof, for the purpose of utilization of illustration in Korean language textbooks. Section 4 presents the ways to use characteristics and problems of textbooks analyzed in section 3. Moreover, the method to use illustration in Korean language textbooks is pursued by referencing 3 kinds of textbooks with similar composition of units to the Korean language textbooks among the best-selling language textbooks at Kyobo Bookstore. Analysis and pursuit of various measures for presenting illustration in Korean language textbooks would provide the best learning tools that can be used by the learners of Korean language as foreign language as well as the teachers, who are contained in the restrictive environment within the classroom. ,韩语论文题目,韩语论文 |
