This aimed at identifying the tense usage patterns in complex sentences written by Korean leaners. For this purpose, this study examined the complex sentences in s written by foreign undergraduate students and analyzed the usage patterns of them. Before examining the tense usage patterns, this study reviewed previous studies about tense of Korean to bring about an understanding in system of tense. Thus It looked thoroughly the tense of conjunct sentences and embedded sentences, absolute tense and relative tense with various example sentences. In order to grasp the status of educating tense in KFL(Korean as a Foreign Language), It reviewed 「Internationally Accepted Standard Korean Language Education Model」, three kinds of Korean grammar dictionaries, and four kinds of Korean textbooks issued by institutions. Each books explained tense with description and example sentences. Most example sentences are composed in simple sentences. Moreover, most of complex sentences consists of simple structure. As such, in chapter 4 this study examined 3,009 complex sentences and analyzed them by analysis criteria of this study. It marked the using tense clause and error point. Consequently, It showed 15.9% of error rate and 25 patterns in tense error. Also It could be categorized by 10 types. As a result, this study argued that frequency of errors implicated the importance of teaching tense in complex sentence. Then according to the usage patterns of tense, it suggested kinds of methods to prevent tense error in complex sentence. Those methods should be designed to be accepted by teachers and learners, and learners could make complex sentences successfully without tense error. ,韩语论文题目 |
