문학의 교육적 가치는, 그 문학이 태동한 시대와 상관없이 지금의 현실 속에서 새롭게 해석되고 조명되어 사회적으로나 문화적으로 당대의 현실을 대변하고 적용된다는 데 있다. 이러한 맥... 문학의 교육적 가치는, 그 문학이 태동한 시대와 상관없이 지금의 현실 속에서 새롭게 해석되고 조명되어 사회적으로나 문화적으로 당대의 현실을 대변하고 적용된다는 데 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 1930년대 혹독한 일제 강점기 시대 속에서도 끊임없이, ‘나는 누구인가’라는 질문을 던지는 가운데 자아회귀를 모색할 뿐 아니라, 고향상실을 그리움으로 승화시키는 백석의 시 세계는, 한국전쟁 이후 혼돈과 상실의 시대에 자신의 의지와 상관없이 고국을 떠나야했던 해외 입양인들의 슬픈 정서와 많은 부분에서 교집합을 이룬다. 특히 일상음식과 전통의례음식들을 소재로 하여 아름다운 음식 서사로 풀어나가는 백석의 시 세계는, 미각과 후각을 통해 유년의 아름답고 ‘맛있었던’기억을 견인해 내고 회상함으로써, 핍절을 풍요로 바꾸는 힘이 있다. 이러한 힘은 치유력이 되어 자신의 정체성에 혼란을 겪고, 부모와 조국으로부터 버려졌다고 하는 상처 속에서 아픔을 겪는 해외 입양인들에게 극복 의지를 부여한다. 다시 말해서 음식 서사라는 시적 장치를 통해서 내면의 기억을 떠올려 상실을 그리움으로 치환하듯, 시어 속에 스며든 공감각을 통해서 어머니의 손맛을 기억해 내고, 유년의 시간들을 회상한다는 것이다. 따라서 백석 시가 은유하는 치유의 언어들이 해외 입양인들의 자아정체성 회복 및 민족 공동체 일원으로서의 자긍심을 회복하는데 기여할 수 있음을 전제로 이 연구는 출발한다. 이를 입증하는 과정 속에서 먼저, 음식과 관련된 치유 양상 및 효과적인 한국어 교육을 위한 백석 시 활용 교수법에 관한 선행 연구 자료를 검토하였다. 더불어 유년기의 자아회복을 중심으로 한 기억의 견인과 감성적 치유를 유도하는 음식의 은유와 백석의 외롭고 높고 쓸쓸한 청장년기의 이역 정서를 현장에서 인터뷰한 해외 입양인들의 진술과 맞물려 비교 서술하였다. 이러한 일련의 연구과정을 토대로 해외 입양인을 위한 한국어 교육의 이상적인 모형을 모색한다는 관점에서 백석 시를 활용한 교수 학습 모형을 구안(具案)하여 제시하였다. 이러한 실험적 시도가 미래 한국어 교육의 연구에 있어 새로운 논의의 장(場)을 마련할 뿐 아니라, 문학의 교육적 가치를 높이는 데 일조할 수 있으리라 기대하는 바이다.

In this vein, the world of Baekseok’s poetry intersects well with the sorrow of adoptees who were forced to leave their homeland in the post-Korean war era of confusion and loss. Baeksoek’s work similarly rose out of the Japanese colonial rule in the 1930s, seeking to reclaim a sense of self through persistently asking, “Who am I?” even in the midst of a harsh reality and sublimated the loss of home into longing. In particular, the beautiful food narrative that Baekseok’s poetry achieves through both the everyday and traditional meals carries the power of transforming poverty to abundance, as it evokes and reminisces the childhood memories of delicious foods through the senses of taste and smell. Such power can be harnessed to bring healing and strength to adoptees, who may be suffering from identity crisis and the trauma of abandonment by their parents and country, and motivate their will to overcome. In other words, just as Baekseok’s poetic device of the food narrative conjures up the internal memories to replace loss with yearning, the poetic language may enable synthetic recall in adoptees to remember the taste of their mothers’ food and recollect their childhood. Hence, this research is based on the premise that the language of healing found within Baekseok’s poetry can contribute to the restoration of adoptees’ sense of identity and esteem as a member of their ethnic community. To this end, the present study first reviewed the extant literature on food-related modalities of healing, as well as the effective pedagogical methods of Baekseok’s poetry for the purposes of teaching Korean. In addition, this study conducted a comparative analysis between the themes found in the interviews of overseas adoptees and the themes of elevated solitude and loneliness in Baekseok’s adult exile life, focusing on the emotional healing elicited by food metaphors, as well as the restoration of childhood identity through the recollection of memories. Based on these analyses, the study proposes a model of learning and instruction for Baekseok’s poetry, toward developing an effective method for teaching Korean to overseas adoptees. It is hoped that this exploratory study will not only present a new line of discussion and inquiry for future Korean education studies, but also advance the educational value of literature. ，韩语毕业论文，韩语论文网站 |
