Oral folktales has a long history and a deep cultural background. And it is passed on by words spread from mouth to mouth. This literature theme is pretty related to our real life because of it can be easily got by people of all ages. So it can reflect people’s the epic of self. Meanwhile many problems existing in our common life can be found and we also can find the solutions to them through oral folktales.
Considering of the character and significance, In this we study such oral folktales in Korea and China that are known widely and the two country have good adjacent properties geographically and culturally. Firstly we choose two oral folktales 『A Compilation of Chinese folktales』and『An Outline of Korean Oral Literature』as a study object which have a great value in Chian and Korea. And then make a comparative study of the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father from Korean and Chinese oral Folktales from the typical folktales in above two famous sets.While studying the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father from Korean and Chinese Oral Folktales, I applied the method which focus on epic to classify and compare works and it is different from the former method which classifies works by it’s text and motif. Get the transmitting phase and significance between two countries by classifying and comparing the works. And on the same condition narrative structural compare not only the difference of context of the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father from Korean and Chinese Oral Folktales but also analysis the reasons for which the difference arises. Oral folktales this literature theme can provide us the solutions to the problem of a confrontation between a daughter and a father seen regularly in our real life, and especially we can apply it in our epic self-investigate and Korean language education.
In chapter two we state the definition of the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father. In chapter four by analysis and comparing we apply it in literary therapeutics.Firstly we can easily make an connection between oral folktales and the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father which makes us accept other unfamiliar oral folktales easily. We can have a good self examine by making use of our familiar epic and in specially it can be an argument for the problem of new old alternative ages so the necessity of our study in this is significant. And more than that this study and compare could be an efficient way to study Korean not only by memorizing the words and grammar. This study will help us make a good understand of our real emotion about our country and it’s culture and study effectively.
So finally the study of the epic of confrontation between a daughter and a father from Korean and Chinese Oral Folktales which exists in our real lift widely is significant. The study not only helps us to do the epic of self considering literary therapeutics and do a favor to understand the new old alternative but also be a effective way of spreading Korean teaching. But the study in this is just a practice in theory and I hope I can do a deep study in practice at the next stage.
