This research is to study the relation between the Chinese who writes in Korean and the Korean who writes in Chinese, as well as their methodology. This study has provided the essential perspectives, through analyzing their relation, while Chinese learners are writing in Korean, in order to write higher standard . At meanwhile, it also offers the guideline and assistance for Korean teachers who are coaching the Korean writing. As a result, it provided better assistance for both learner and teachers.
The first chapter is explaining the significance and purpose of this research, as well as the research methodology and the content of initial research.
The second chapter is mainly focused on the understanding of mother language writing and foreign language writing, as well as the basic characteristics, the category of writing type, the structure and stating method. This chapter also tried to understand the Chinese and Korean style and discuss the characteristics and difference.
The third chapter’s main aim is to analyze the learner’s Chinese writing. Through this analysis, we can know the common mistakes made during the writing, the way of expression from the learner, the structure of article and stating method etc.. Thus, this research provided the common mistakes as well as the feedback in order to offer guideline for the Korean teachers who are teaching Korean writing. Then we analyze the mistakes in the writing; analyze the expression in Korean and the studying steps of the learners to feed it back to the teacher for attention. Hence, this research evaluated the relation and characteristics between Korean writing and Chinese writing. Meanwhile we compare and analyze the difference between high level learner and the low level learner and the multi-expects of the high level learner when they use their own language. Therefore it offered the assistance to the Korean learner and teachers for their future study and teaching.
The chapter four aimed to coordinate the research content and also mentioned the meaning of this research, limit and the development direction for further study.
The process and result of this research will be a major improvement for the common mistakes and the causes for such mistakes during the learner’s writing experience. In this study, taking Chinese Korean learner for example, this research will become the fundamental information for further related studies through analyzing the characteristics and structure of Chinese basic writing. Also, through analyzing the results, we can predict the mistakes in the Korean writing and it will be the very good material for Korean teacher when they writing the notes of Korean teaching texts. Finally, the process and results of this study complete the “common Korean grammar mistake notes”. The teacher offered the significant assistance and influence to correctly direct and feedback to the various students. However the drawback is that this method requires a very high Chinese level from the Korean teacher and it takes a long time to analyze the data, it only offers the guideline and assistance to certain level of learners accordingly.
In the language education, it is essential that for educators to predict the common mistakes made by learners and analyze the results as well as collecting the teaching methodology. However, in the current Korean language education, there is a number of research have already been studied. Therefore, there are more and more writing guideline and feedback existed and especially the researches for how to feed it back to individuals are also very important. Moreover, there is an increasing number of studies which analyzed the studying characterizes of Korean learners from many different countries, and their writing styles, structure as well as the writing method.
