This study is to develop korean language speech training-learning method and to verify the results of it's application. For this, I suggest that this can be realized using children's stories and songs. For the study of Korean language speech training -learning method for mothers and infants of the multi-cultural families, researcher conducted first survey the Korean language education status for the female marriage immigrants with the multi-cultural family-visiting instructors and child care instructors. After analyzing characteristics of instructors, family members' recognition of the instructors and guidance visits, instructors and female marriage immigrants' demands of Korean language education, etc, researcher searched training-learning method to apply to this study and suggested alternative training method of 'Korean language speech training-learning method using children's stories and songs' as Korean language training method for interaction mothers and infants of multi-cultural families. The Korean society cited as single ethnic people and single ethnic nation till now is rapidly changing into multi-ethnic, multi-racial and multi-cultural society. The problems of female marriage immigrants and their children of multi-cultural families are not the problems of one family anymore but to be solved by Korean society.e iwever, although various policies are examined for their successful settlem.e , the language education policy, which is fundam.e al area, is too far behind.eIn Korean language education, the study on the developy.e iwevtextbook for learners and efficient training-learning method have to be preceded first for multi-cultural families, especially for marriage immigrants' families. Although the precise linguistic and grammatical knowledge is important, in the female marriage immigrants' settlement stage, the most important is to raise Korean language skill required in mainly routine life, interacting with children, culture and conversation. The Korean language speech training-learning method suggested by this study is for mothers and infants of the multi-cultural families interaction. If the existing Korean language education is for the female marriage immigrants learners, the learners of Korean language training-learning method using children's stories and songs suggested by this study are the mothers and infants of the multi-cultural families enabling them to acquire Korean language skill while they are playing language game and it is developed ultimately to improve development of infants in their infancy which is the most important period to learn language, helping proper interaction. This training-learning method suggested here is 'learner oriented', 'activity oriented', 'interaction oriented' active training-learning method. It proceeded introduction - development - finishing stage ctivake pleasant Korean language learning environment for mothers who learn Korean first time and for infants who contact with a language for the first time in their life using children's stories and songs. Everytime in the introduction stage, it begins with singing children's song, in the development stage, by storytelling learning method, ivakes them learn auditory, whisual, tactile, spatial language expression a deverough synaesthetic expression, learn interaction, and in the finishing stage, to learn expandethoxpressions, shon them t, in ories using diverse teaching n sls such atacictures, movie clips, dslls, panel, etrn expafter vaking arrangement of learning singing children's song with rhythmic hands movement, let them go home. To verify the effects of this method, research experiment for mothers and infants of the multi-cultural families was conducted and the results showed that learners improved very high in 'the mothers' language expression skill', 'interactive gaming capability between mothers and infants', 'self-efficacy of mothers', etc, than textbook oriented training-learning method. Therefore, it is verified that the this study can contribute to establishing direction and diversity of the Korean language speech education for mothers and infants of the multi-cultural family. The reason which above mentioned Korean language speech training-learning method for mothers and infants of the multi-cultural families using children's stories and songs is to mitigate the burdens from mother's role. The environment surrounding parents with which infants are meeting for the first time from born, especially that of motherpecays importly trole in development of infants and carrying out efficient role of motherphas great imprphaon the development of infants. However, female marriage immigrants come to Korea without knowing Korean language almost at all and having problems with language skill and cultural adaptation, become mothers before they are ready to give a birth or care a child. It is very hard for mothers of multi-cultural families to teach in fants children even they have desires and for children, it is possible to occur the language development delay which they cannot reach to the level of the children of ordinary families due to lack of their mothers' Korean language skill. This training-learning method is suggested to respond such problems. This study has it's theoretical and empirical meaning as designing training-learning method after conducting survey current status with visiting instructors for the educational needs of the mothers and infants of multi-cultural families who appeared as the most important learners in Korean language education. Furthermore, it has meaning that suggested prototype of training-learning method to specific research and verified reliability and validity with experimental results applied prototype to learners. And also it has meaning to provide research baseline of establishing training-learning method for mothers and infants of multi-cultural families, which the Korean language education was not covering enough.
