Recently in our diverse sectors of our culture we can find multiculture families developing and it's interest in it drives to a focal point that lets us know that korea is no longer a homogenizes society, and to our honored heritage it tells us (Koreans) that we need to accept and change of it's culture. But, recently we've only shown interest in our change of it's new acceptance in the multiculture melting pot, we've fallen to accept to understand the diverseness and organize that the difference in the different culture's may cause, and in the midst of this is the families of the multiculture melting pot expecting the good and getting the worse of our prejudice and racial tensions. At present in this focal point of our culture, Korean society strengthen by it's media and of it's role to make understand the diverseness to it's people of this tension is playing an important role.
Therefor this study is of Koreas multiculture diversity, and of it's recent debate to create a better environment by pointing out and criticising it's problems for the recently growing multi-families and it's marriages, there exist's the role of the media to carry out this representation of the diverseness that these marriages in relations to the growing number of women and men that arrive to Korea for the better adaptation to the culture and environment, again to on go it's criticism to better our society.
For this reason in recent from 2006, K.B.S.2 (Human Theater) with in the two years carried documentary inter racial marriage in a form of text analysis. In the purposes of this analysis and study are as the following. Firstly, in the text analysis there arise the inter racial marriage and the diverse immigrants that arrive to this country and their characteristics is what the document was based on, to analysis and study for the better of their adaptation and our's. Secondly, the show forth in the sequence of the text analyze is an episode, in this episode we saw and showed how these inter marriage was arranged and took place. Thirdly, as narrator narrating these story there where slides shows to narrate as by with interviewing the whole and bit by bit inter analysis of the foreigners of inter race marriage and their Korean spouse as to represent their story to document. Lastly, as to the above reference to finalize the analyse the diverse view in our Korean society and to what media has to in solving this and many tensed moments.
The final point , in the coverage of the media is that the documents tells us, is that multy race marriage is not a diverse and foreign presence with in our Korean society, but is common in a society once taught to be homogenizes society, but rather is in a negative point. Story telling was in a form of ones personal life and of their inter race marriage and of their families living happily in their own realm. Point, the main character of the document states the story by telling the male in his male shovenice ways. And by the represent slide shows of inter race marriages in whole their exists the voice over narration that was used as a means of tools , as of text in whole visual means were of use for eye level angle shot, falled by medium-shot, and the full shot were of used in the portraying the document. These kinds of techniques are good in showing the surroundings and of their environment of ones personal character. Subtitle and conversation was in part through out the document, especially for the foreigner in interview unable to speak the Korean language the Koreans seemed to have portrayed them as of others than that of what the document was of to mean rather than as to that of being our culture and to bare. As for the image show identifies that shows us the foreigners being different than that of us, and as for the one who left their beloved homeland to be with the one of their loves destiny is not being portrayed in the document, and is being underminded. As to have come here to a foreign land and carrying grudge against the country was being portrayed in the document rather of the love involved in the document they had to endure the bashing by the country they exist in. as to the lives as foreigner in korea the document does not portray the family environment but rather the difference that the marriage and they're families are at. On the other hand, there exist the portraying the ones that they left behind in their homeland, but to the marriage they have here and the hardship with there new lives here in korea they're face with what wanted to have been with the story and is represented as to candy a character in a Korean cartoon in their lives here. As to text analysis there seems to exist as representation of the foreigner in their lives here as to that of their Korean counterparts biase in bilateral ways of the culture they exist. As for the women being marriage here t a Korean counter part, they were underclassed as being naive and underminded of their characters as to have carry support for their lives here in korea and being unable to support and be a part, but top the lives they live as a mother they have been classed as being great parents
As for the Koreans that are portrayed in this documentary they are taken in part to help of adaptation of their new neighbors. To this diverseness we try to understand through the means of the many diverse cultures in our surroundings. But what the documentary has to portray was fouled by the negative ways in it's intensionally or unintentionally based portray. As point to be taken to the destinies love and of the reality in it's difference they've failed to have not portrayed those that mattered most. Instead of being portrayed as of a culture being able to cope and to better understand the culture they live in, they portrayed as of an theatrical performance, in it again they failed to show forth the direct lives that they live in but rather shows the only performance, that of their lives and family with their Korean spouse. What it failed to show is what it lacked in doing, as forth in ways that it lacked it underminded the real purpose of it's cultural difference. Secondly, to what we should look with series and take precautious it failed to answer the essential problems with the multiculture environment we have in presence today. Thirdly, based on familyism, it is showed that getting inter marriage and immigrating foreign residents are interpellated in relationship with not only husband/ wife also family members in law. And this interpellated state tend to 'homogenize' them, while their 'otherness' is weakened. Finally, there are limitations of representation of inter marriage family in human documentary; it is insufficient to concrete the concept or discussion framework about 'multiculture'. Also, assimilation is jumbled in multiculturism, and this mixed assimilative point of view strongly represent inter marriage people as 'immigrants', who have to be absorbed in partial vision, the Korean culture.
In conclusion, human documentary showed that assimilation and multiculturism are jumbled in our society, moreover the meaning of 'multiculture' can't be yet defined in it. Thus, we should consider having non-biased open mind about multiculture and understanding foreigner residents as 'our people'. Also we need to bear in mind deeply the importance of the role of broadcasting media, which can lead above things most efficiently. Especially, human documentary seems to have great influence on television viewers because of its 'reality' and 'simultaneity'. So we should try to find a right direction for human documentary to derive successful multicultural formation in Korean society.
