Phraseology of Korean and the Russian language represent rich possibilities for the demonstration of beautiful forms of language, which reflect the special features of culture and the centuries-old history of peoples.
The names of body parts are the most used words in the phraseologisms formation. High specific weight of somatizm, apparently, the common feature of many, if not all phraseological systems (Rakhshteyn A.D. 1980:113).
Using names of body parts in the figurative meaning as comparisons, metaphor, in the idioms, proverbs, people try transmit their thoughts more completely or to produce more strong impression from the aforesaid. The native speakers use words, which name their organs, for describing the most different spheres of reality, including emotions.
In the second chapter of this study we examined well-known conceptions and classifications of the famous scientific linguists. In the third chapter compared semantics of phraseological units of Korean and the Russian language and divided them into two groups: group of body parts and group internal organs.
As a results of classification and analysis of gathered examples of phraseologisms, the total number of Korean phraseologisms is 1400 and the Russian phraseologisms is 848 . Among them ' phraseologisms which contain such words 'the eye', 'the mouth', 'the ear', 'the head', 'the face', 'the hand' and 'the foot' are the most used phraseologisms.
Therefore, Korean and russian phraseologisms, which contain 'body parts' words semantically can be divided in 4 groups:
1) The phraseologisms where the word composition and usual meaning are same
2) Word composition is different but the phraseologism's usual meaning is the same
3) Word composition is the same but the phraseologism's usual meaning is different
4) The phraseologisms which is specific to two languages:
a) the phraseologisms of the Korean language
b) the phraseologisms of the Russian language
The establishment of the interlanguage phraseological equivalents of different types is significant for translation and education of foreign languages (on the base of native), and equivalents themselves are recorded in the bilingual dictionaries (general and phraseological), which sometimes contain also a certain information about the measure of the equivalence of phraseological units and the nature of the divergences between them.
