The tendency of Koreans to tactfully use the adjacency pair of apology involves Korea’s distinct socio-cultural characteristics. This can create difficulties in learning Korean for those studying Korean as a foreign language, and the field of Korean language education should actively work to reflect socio-cultural elements so that students can effectively communicate in real world situations. Therefore, based on studies of the adjacency pair of apology by native Korean speakers at various circumstances, this thesis purposes to propose a constructive theory for Korean language education and to present applicable examples. To first examine how Korean language education currently deals with the adjacency pair of apology, I studied Korean language course materials published by and presently used in Korean universities. The Discourse Completion Test (DCT) was utilized to collect native speakers’ considerations in the exchange of apology adjacency pair and then to analyze this data for classification. The analyzing frame is based on these classified considerations, and the frame categorizes native speakers’ speech tendencies depending on the situational and social conditions. I offer practical plans and useful examples to develop a course material that can help foreign students studying the Korean language to effectively tackle real situations. This thesis aims to support the development of basic course materials for Korean language education, and the resultant effects of practical utility in Korean language education is the significance of this study. ,韩语毕业论文,韩语论文范文 |
