본 연구는 오늘날 중국 고전무용의 움직임 특징이 형성되는 것에 대한 큰 영향을 주는 당나라 궁중 무용 작품을 고찰하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌 연구를 통해서 ... 본 연구는 오늘날 중국 고전무용의 움직임 특징이 형성되는 것에 대한 큰 영향을 주는 당나라 궁중 무용 작품을 고찰하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌 연구를 통해서 당나라 의 역사와 문화, 당나라 궁중 무용의 형성을 역사적, 문화적, 종교적 관점에서 분석하였다. 뿐만 아니라 당나라 궁중 무용 작품 중 대표적인 작품인「답가」,「진왕파진악」,「자지무」,「춘앵전」,「예상우의무」다섯 개로 분석하며 당나라 궁중 무용 작품의 특징을 파악하였다. 이러한 작품들은 역사에서 궁중무용 발전에 큰 영향을 미쳤고, 당나라 궁중 무용에서 나타난 움직임 특징은 오늘날 고전무용의 중요한 원형이 되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 도출된 당나라 궁중 무용 작품의 특징을 정리하며 다음과 같다. 첫째, 당나라 궁중 무용 작품의 주제는 주로 종교 문화와 관련한 주제일 뿐만 아니라 숙원, 염원 등의 희망과 관련한 주제로 이루어졌다. 그 중에서 여성을 통해 아름다운 숙원이나 감정을 표현하였다. 당나라 문화는 한족의 종교문화를 중심으로 다민족의 문화를 같이 발전된 기반에 두어 종교문화와 관련된 주제 작품들이 대부분이다. 둘째, 당나라 궁중 무용 작품의 움직임 특징은 한족과 서역 민족이 형성된 'S' 자형과 'C' 자형 움직임을 기반에 둔다. 그 중에서는 예의성과 종교성을 가지고 있는 'C' 자형 움직임과 서역 소수민족에 나오고 종교 불상에서 나온 'S' 자형에 기본적인 몸의 움직임으로 당나라 궁중 무용의 기본적인 움직임으로서 형성되었다는 것이다. 셋째, 당나라 궁중 무용 작품에서 음악은 주로 한족의 경쇠, 북, 서역의 파리, 필률, 생황, 갈고 등 특색적인 악기가 사용되었으며 노래를 부르며 리듬으로서 반주하였다. 마지막으로, 당나라 궁중 무용 작품에서는 주로 당시 한족의 나삼이나 서역 소수민족의 호복이 사용된다. 또한 한족과 소수민족을 융합된 의상을 입으며 춤을 추었다. 당나라는 중국 역사에서 문화 예술 발전에 전성기가 된 나라 가운데 하나다. 또한 오늘날의 중국 고전무용 발전에 큰 영향을 준다. 따라서 이런 유구한 무용 역사를 지닌 당나라 궁중 무용을 계승, 복원하는 것과 관련한 연구가 지속되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this thesis is to research the characteristics of the Tang Dynasty Palace dance, which has a great influence on the movement characteristics of the Chinese classical dance today. In order to research this theme intensively, I analyzed the history and culture of the Tang Dynasty as well as the establishment of the Tang Dynasty court dance theoretically in a historic cultural and religious perspective. Furthermore, I summarized the characteristics of the works of the Tang Dynasty court dance by analyzing Tage(踏歌), Prince Qin Breaking through the Enemy Array(秦王破陣樂), Jaji Dance(柘枝舞), Chunaenjeon(春鶯囀), Feather dress Dance(霓裳羽衣舞) these five representative works of the Tang Dynasty court dance. The pose characteristics in the Tang Dynasty court dance works became an important prototype of modern classic dance and those representative works exerted far-reaching influence on the evolution of the court dance throughout history. Based on intensively research, the conclusions about the features of the Tang Dynasty court dance are as follows: Firstly, the theme of the works of the Tang Dynasty court dance is not only about religious culture, but also about other topics, such as wish, desire and hope. In those works, wonderful wishes and emotions are expressed by the beauty of female. Most works of the Tang Dynasty is about religious culture, especially based on the development of the Han nationality-centered multi-nationality religious culture. Secondly, the characteristic of the pose in the Tang Dynasty court dance works is based on the Han nationality and the Western Regions’ culture, and absorbed the C/S-shaped body pose from them. C -shaped body Pose connects with ritual and religious features, S-shaped body pose relates to minority nationalities, and the status of Buddha constituted the basic characteristics of body pose of the Tang Dynasty court dance. Thirdly, music in the works of the Tang Dynasty court dance could be played together accompanied by unique instruments such as Chime stone(磬), Drum(鼓), minority nationality's Flute(笛子), Tartar pipe(篳篥), Sheng(笙), or accompanied by singing. Finally, Han nationality's Luoshan(羅衫) or minority nationality's garment were used as the costume in the works of the Tang Dynasty court dance. And the costumes which integrated with the characteristics of the Han and minority nationalities were used as well in the works. The Tang Dynasty is one of the most prosperous periods in the development of culture and art throughout the history of China. And the Tang Dynasty court dance has a great influence on the development of Chinese classic dance today.
