급변하는 현대사회는 기술의 발전과 환경의 변화, 경제적 성장에 의해서 경제·사회·교육·문화·정치 전반에 거쳐 다양한 형태로 넘쳐나는 지식들이 창출되고 있다. 이런 무분별한 지식의 ... 급변하는 현대사회는 기술의 발전과 환경의 변화, 경제적 성장에 의해서 경제·사회·교육·문화·정치 전반에 거쳐 다양한 형태로 넘쳐나는 지식들이 창출되고 있다. 이런 무분별한 지식의 상황 속에서 공동의 목표를 향한 집단이 형성되고, 새로운 사고로의 전환으로 지식의 패러다임이 자연스레 집단지성과 같은 협업의 원리로 작용되고 있다. 집단지성(Collective Intelligence)은 인간 지성의 핵심적 역량으로써 최근 고안된 개념으로 다수의 참여자가 모여 집단을 이루고 개인의 활발한 활동(지식 및 정보공유)에 의해 형성되는 집단차원의 지성이다. 집단지성의 용어는 곤충학자인 윌리엄 모턴 휠러(William Morton Wheeler)에 의해 개미의 집단적 행동을 근거하여 비롯되었고, 인간에 의한 집단지성의 사례는 프랜시스 골튼(Francis Galton)이 처음으로 포착하였다. 사이버 공간에서의 집단지성 개념은 사회학자 피에르 레비(Pierre Levy)에 의해 본격적으로 탐구되었다. 집단지성의 유사한 개념에 대한 논의는 최근 다양한 분야의 연구들로 다수 출현했으며, 집단지성의 작동을 위한 주요 원리의 초점도 학자별로 상이하다. 본 연구는 새로운 사회적 트렌드로 떠오르고 있는 집단지성의 이론적 고찰에 비춰 뮤지컬과 집단지성의 연관성은 무엇이며, 뮤지컬에서의 집단지성 주요 작동원리, 그리고 발전적 활용 방안을 살펴본다. 이후 실제 창작뮤지컬 <빛길로 3-0> 제작의 실증적 연구를 제고하고, 뮤지컬에서 집단지성 활용에 있어 개선점들과 나아가야할 발전 방안들을 제시 할 수 있음에 의의를 둔다. 이에 본 연구를 정리하자면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 뮤지컬 제작에서 집단지성은 활용될 수 있다. 뮤지컬은 참여하는 모든 크리에이터·디자이너·배우·스태프들의 신뢰와 소통의 협업으로 완벽한 균형과 조화를 이룰 때 가장 훌륭한 작품이 만들어진다. 시대를 관통하며 흐르는 모든 것들은 예술의 철학적 가치 기준과 표현양식에 따라 무대 위에서 관객과 소통되며 공연으로 완성된다. 곧 공연의 핵심가치, 즉 본질은 소통인 것이다. 공연콘텐츠는 ‘소통하기 위한, 소통하는 형태’라 할 수 있다. 따라서 어떤 공연을 어떤 형태로 제작하게 되든지 신뢰와 소통을 통한 협업의 제작과정 속에서 집단지성은 활용될 수 있다. 둘째, 뮤지컬에서 집단지성이 발현되는 주요 작동원리를 5가지로 나눌 수 있는데, ‘①개방적 협업, ②협업적 창조성, ③자체조직화, ④기여와 인정, 자본, ⑤공동평가’이다. <빛길로 3-0>에서 집단지성이 발현되는 주요 작동원리를 분석하고, 실제 어떻게 활용되었는지에 대한 연구를 통해 뮤지컬 작업에서 집단지성 활용으로 더 나은 결과물을 만들 수 있을 것이라는 가능성을 야기했다. 셋째, <빛길로 3-0> 뮤지컬 제작에서 연출과정 중 프리 프로덕션(제작의도와 기획, 극본 개발, 음악 개발, 크라우드 펀딩을 이용한 투자유치), 프로덕션(연출제작팀 구성, 배우 구성, 뮤지컬 연습의 실제, 무대형상화, 마케팅과 홍보, 셋업, 리허설과 공연), 포스트 프로덕션(결과보고서, 평가)의 전반적인 과정 속에서 집단지성이 발현되며 모든 차원에서 긍정적 효과를 일으켰다. 마지막으로 집단지성이 발현되는 주요 원리들은 뮤지컬 제작에 무한한 활용 가능성을 제시한다. 집단지성은 새로운 사회적 트렌드로 떠오르고 있다. 뮤지컬 제작에 있어서도 집단지성이 적극적으로 활용될 수 있는 여러 긍정적인 방안들이 제시 될 수 있다. 이에 신뢰와 소통의 협업문화를 구축하고, 혁신적인 공공시스템으로 발전하여 자리 잡을 수 있을 것이다. <빛길로 3-0>에서 집단지성이 활용된 실제 사례의 본 연구가 앞으로의 뮤지컬 제작에 있어서도 적극적으로 활용 될 수 있는 여러 긍정적인 방안들로 제안되어 공연계에 도움이 되길 바라며 본 연구를 마친다.

In the context of this reckless knowledge, a group toward a common goal is formed, and the paradigm of knowledge becomes naturally a principle of collaboration like collective intellect as a transition to new thinking. Collective Intelligence is a concept that has been recently developed as a core competence of human intelligence. It is a collective intelligence that is formed by a large number of participants gathered and formed by active activities (knowledge and information sharing) of individuals. The term collective intelligence was derived from the collective action of ants by the entomologist William Morton Wheeler, and the case of collective intelligence by human beings was first captured by Francis Galton. The concept of collective intelligence in cyberspace was explored in earnest by sociologist Pierre Levy. Discussions on similar concepts of collective intelligence have emerged in many recent studies, and the focus of the major principles for the operation of collective intelligence also varies from scholar to scholarly. This study examines the relationship between musicals and collective intelligence in relation to the theoretical review of collective intelligence emerging as a new social trend, the main working principle of collective intelligence in musicals, and how to utilize them for development. Since then, it has been emphasized that it is possible to enhance the empirical research on the production of the creative musical <Bitgil-ro 3-0> and to suggest the improvements in the use of collective intelligence in musicals and the development plans to be made. This study is as follows. First, collective intelligence can be utilized in musical production. Musicals are created with the perfect balance and harmony through the collaboration of the trust and communication of all the creators, designers, actors and staffs involved. Everything that flows through the age is communicated to the audience on stage on the basis of philosophical value standards and expression style of art, and is completed with performances. Soon the core value of the performance, the essence, is communication. The performance contents can be said to be a form of communication for communicating. Therefore, collective intelligence can be utilized in the production process of collaboration through trust and communication no matter what form the performance is made. Second, musicals can be divided into five main operating principles in which collective intelligence is expressed: ① open collaboration, ② collaborative creativity, ③ self organization, ④ contribution and recognition, and ⑤ joint evaluation. By analyzing the main working principle of collective intellect in <Bitgil-ro 3-0> and studying how it was actually used, it has led to the possibility that it will be possible to produce better results by using collective intelligence in musical work. Thirdly, the production process of the musical production of <Bitgil-ro 3-0> is the production of pre-production(production, planning, drama development, music development, investment with crowd funding), production(Directed production team composition, actor composition, actual practice of musical practice, stage shaping, marketing and promotion, setup, rehearsal and performance), post production (result , evaluation), and Collective intelligence was positively effected at all levels. Finally, the main principles of collective intelligence manifest the possibility of infinite use in musical production. Collective intelligence is emerging as a new social trend. In the production of musicals, there are many positive ways in which collective intelligence can be used positively.
