세계화 시대의 흐름에 따라 올림픽은 전 세계의 사회, 정치, 문화 등 사회전반에 미치는 효과가 큰 스포츠 행사이다. 올림픽 유니폼은 올림픽을 구성하는 중요한 구성요소 중 하나로써 국가... 세계화 시대의 흐름에 따라 올림픽은 전 세계의 사회, 정치, 문화 등 사회전반에 미치는 효과가 큰 스포츠 행사이다. 올림픽 유니폼은 올림픽을 구성하는 중요한 구성요소 중 하나로써 국가의 이미지를 대외적으로 홍보하는 시각적 매체이다. 한국은 동계올림픽 경기 종목 중 쇼트트랙, 스피드 스케이팅에서 성적이 우세하지만 경기용 유니폼에 관한 연구가 부족하여 유니폼 디자인 연구에 대한 기반을 갖추고 있지 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 전문서적 및 문헌고찰과 선행 연구에 의한 연구 분석을 통해 동계 올림픽에 대해 고찰한 후 자료를 통하여 동계올림픽 경기 종목과 동계올림픽에서 나타난 상징물에 대해 알아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 최근 16년 동안 열린 2002년 제 19회 미국 솔트 레이크 시티(Salt Lake), 2006년 제 20회 이탈리아 토리노(Torino), 2010년 제 21회 캐나다 밴쿠버(Vancouver), 2014년 제 22회 러시아 소치(Sochi) 동계올림픽에서 쇼트트랙 스피드 스케이팅, 스피드 스케이팅 종목별로 한국과 중국을 포함한 메달 순위 7위권 내 국가의 유니폼 실루엣 및 스타일, 색채, 문양, 소재, 디테일의 조형성을 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 쇼트트랙, 스피드 스케이팅 유니폼은 공기저항을 최소화하기 위해 인체에 피트되는 바디콘셔스(Body-Conscious) 실루엣의 일체형 의복인 스킨 슈트(Skin suit)를 착용한다. 또한 스타일은 모던 37.14%, 액티브 32.14%, 오리엔탈과 퓨처리즘, 엔조틱 스타일이 각각 3.57% 순으로 분석되어 최근 사회 트렌드 흐름에 맞춰 모던 스타일을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 쇼트트랙, 스피드 스케이팅 유니폼에 사용된 주조색의 비율은 블랙이 45%, 레드가 28%, 블루가 14%, 네이비가 7%, 화이트, 골드, 오렌지가 2%로 나타났다. 많은 국가들이 유니폼에 국기를 구성하는 색상이나 국가를 상징하는 색상을 사용해 국가정체성을 표현하였다. 셋째, 문양의 종류를 국기변형 문양, 전통문양, 추상문양, 자연문양으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 유니폼에 사용된 문양은 추상문양이 68%, 국기변형 문양이 16%, 자연문양 9%, 전통문양 7%로 분석되었다. 넷째, 쇼트트랙, 스피드 스케이팅 유니폼은 선수를 보호할 뿐만 아니라 선수의 기록과 밀접한 영향이 있으므로 공기와의 마찰을 최소한으로 줄여주는 고기능성 소재를 사용한다. 다섯째, 유니폼의 디테일로 유니폼에 부착된 엠블럼을 조사하였다. 엠블럼의 모티프에 따라 국기, 국가 명, 국가 문장, 오륜기 4가지로 분류하여 엠블럼의 구성요소와 상징성에 대해 분석하였다. 유니폼에 부착된 엠블럼의 종류별 모티프 비율은 국기는 64%, 오륜기는 14%, 국가 명 13%, 국가 문장 9% 순으로 국기를 모티프로 한 엠블럼 사용 비율이 가장 높게 나타났으며 올림픽을 상징하는 오륜기의 사용도 높게 나타났다. 따라서 유니폼 디자인 분석을 통해 국가정체성 표현, 전통의 활용, 현대적인 스타일 추구, 기능적 디자인의 중시, 시대정신과 패션트렌드 반영 등의 조형성이 도출되었다. 본 연구가 동계올림픽 유니폼 디자인이 발전하는데 참고자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
Olympic Games are a big sports event that has a major influence on society, politics and culture worldwide with the stream of the age of globalization. Although Korea, however, performs well, among Winter Olympic events, in short-track speed skating and speed skating, it hasn't done much research on designs for Olympic uniforms. Therefore, it has little foundation for design research. In this study, after giving consideration into winter Olympic Games through examination into books on design for sports uniform and documents and analysis of advanced research, symbols and emblems used in winter Olympic events and winder Olympic Games were studied with data. Based on them, analysis has been done on the formativeness of silhouette, style, color, pattern, material and details of uniform of nations ranked 7th or higher in short-track speed skating and speed skating including Korea and China at the Winter Olympic Games which have been held over the last 16 years including The 19th Olympic Winter Games: Salt Lake 2002, the 20th Olympic Winter Games (Torino 2006), the 21st Olympic Winter Games: Vancouver 2010, the 22nd Sochi 2014 Winter Games Olympics. The followings are the findings. First, uniforms for short-track speed skating and speed skating was designed to minimize air resistance and their athletes wear a skin suit, body- conscious silhouette which is very tight but fits nicely to the body curves. In addition, the analysis suggested that 37. 14% of their style is modern, 32.14% active, and oriental, futurism and playful style make up 3. 57% respectively and modern style seems to be most preferred as the trend changes. Second, as of the rate of color used for uniforms for short-track speed skating and speed skating, 45% of uniforms used black, 28% red, 14% blue, 7% navy, and white, gold, orange were used for 2% of uniforms respectively. Most uniforms represent identity of the nation with colors used on national flags or with colors symbolizing the nation. Third, Kinds of patterns were categorized into change of the pattern in national flag, traditional pattern, abstract pattern, natural pattern and analyzed. The finding suggested that 68% of Patterns on uniforms were abstract, 16% change of the pattern in national flag, 9% natural and 7% traditional. Fourth, As uniforms for short-track speed skating and speed skating have major influence on the record of athletes, high functional materials should be used to minimize air friction as well as to protect athletes. Fifth, emblems as details used on uniforms were categorized into national flag, name of nation, the seal of the nation and the Olympic flag depending on its motif and components of uniforms were analyzed. Emblems with a motif of a national flag were attached to 70% of uniforms for short-track speed skating, ones based on national emblem were 3%, name of the nation 3%, the Olympic flag 8%. As a result, emblems with a motif of a national flag made up the largest portion. Emblems with a motif of a national flag were attached to 58% of uniforms for speed skating, the Olympic flag 21%, name of nation 14%, the seal of the nation 7%, with emblems with a motif of a national flag making up the largest portion and ones with a motif of the Olympic flag symbolizing the Games also making up the large. Thus, by analyzing design for uniforms, formativeness was deducted including expression of national identity, use of tradition, pursuit of modern style, emphasis on functional design, reflection of the spirit of the age and fashion trend, etc. It is hope that this study is used as a reference to develop Winter Olympics uniform designs. ，韩语论文网站，韩语论文范文 |
