Since the ancient society till the present, pottery has been regarded both as a useful popular daily living tool and as an art genre. Modernization and economic growth have led to improvement of living cultures and changes in perception, and that is what, as a consequence, is making pottery of diverse designs and functions closer to the public. Necessity to see pottery as crafts that would perform multiple functions as one whole art and a practical item is increasing. Tableware to stimulate visual interest and imagination and to improve quality of life as plates of these designs good enough to fit eating culture and housing culture of the present times should be developed. Of other forms of daily living bowls, plates are used most frequently and in the light of that, in order to design a plate that would fit changes in eating patterns, this study produced a 'many-sided white porcelain plate' by giving twists to heels and sides of a basic round plate. This study to produce a many-sided white porcelain plate aimed to come up with a plate design of both artistry and practicality by changing visual stereotypes of pottery which would always come in round and squarish forms as long as people of the present would see. The main purpose of the many-sided white porcelain plate production was described to design a plate of contemporary touches with functionality and formativeness emphasized, and an upper side of a many-sided plate and a round heel of a bottom were chosen as a motif. As for a design feature of the many-sided white porcelain plate, the study transformed the sides and the heel of the plate which in the end shaped the plate into this wide low form of stability. In terms of production methods, the study worked with jiggering and after cutting a heel of a semi-dried plate, the study made multiple cuts into a part of the plate's side and fretworked on a part of the bottom which helped the study to create a modern design of outstanding geometric formative beauty. The study kept decoration as simple as possible as not adding any patterns to the upper side of the plate, and that was the harmony of the sides and the lines which would save beauty of space. This study produced a new plate out of a plate in a round and squarish frame using the jiggering method and emphasized a gentle property of pottery which led the study also to offer a new design of formative beauty after making polygonal changes in the plate's sides and transforming the heel. In order to keep up with changes of the times, the study proposed diversification of ceramic design and the original plate design and worked to contribute to the growth of contemporary ceramic arts.
도자기는 고대 사회부터 현재까지 우리의 일상의 생활 속에 유용한 주요 생활도구이자 예술의 장르 중 하나로서 자리해오고 있다. 현대화와 경제적 성장이 발전 하면서 생활 문화의 향상과 ... 도자기는 고대 사회부터 현재까지 우리의 일상의 생활 속에 유용한 주요 생활도구이자 예술의 장르 중 하나로서 자리해오고 있다. 현대화와 경제적 성장이 발전 하면서 생활 문화의 향상과 인식의 변화로 다양한 디자인과 기능을 갖춘 도자기들이 대중과 가까워 지고 있다. 도자기를 하나의 예술품과 실용기로서의 다기능의 역할을 할 수 있는 도자기의 필요성이 증가 되고 있다. 현대의 식문화와 주거문화에 어울리는 디자인을 갖춘 그릇으로서 시각적 흥미와 상상력을 자극시켜 삶의 질을 향상 시켜줄 식기의 개발이 필요하다. 일상의 그릇 형태 중에서 접시의 활용이 가장 빈번히 사용되고 있는 식생활패턴의 변화에 어울리는 접시를 제작하고 하며, 일반적인 원형접시에 각을 주어 굽과 전을 다양하게 변형하여 제작한 ‘백자 다각 접시’를 제작하였다. 백자 다각 접시 제작 연구는 현대인들이 바라보는 원과 사각형태의 틀 안에서 도자기의 시각적 고정관념을 바꾸어 예술성과 실용성을 겸비한 접시 디자인을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 백자 다각 접시 제작의 중점은 다각면의 접시윗면과 바닥의 원형굽을 모티브로 하여 기능성을 갖추고 조형성이 부각되어 현대적인 감각을 지닌 접시로 제작하였다. 백자 다각 접시의 디자인적 특징은 접시의 전 부분과 굽을 변형 하여 넓고 낮게 하여 안전성이 있는 기형으로 디자인 하였으며, 제작방법은 물레성형을 중심으로 제작하였고 반건조 후 굽을 깎아낸 후, 접시의 기벽 일부분을 다각으로 잘라내며, 일부 바닥면을 투각을 하여 기하학적 조형적이 돋 보이는 모던한 디자인을 표현하였다. 면과 선의 조화로 여백의 미를 살리기 위해 접시의 윗면은 문양을 더하지 않고 단순하게 장식하였다. 원형과 사각의 틀을 가진 접시의 형태에서 물레성형 방법으로 제작함으로서 도자제의 부드러운 물성(物性)의 특징을 살리고, 접시 면의 다각형의 모양과 굽의 변형을 주어 조형적 아름다움을 표현한 새로운 디자인을 제시하였다. 도자디자인의 다양화와 독창적인 접시디자인으로 시대의 변화에 발맞추어 현대적인 도자공예 발전에 도움이 되고자 하였다. ，韩语论文题目，韩语论文题目 |
