Although some factors, such as age of onset of L2(second language) acquisition, proficiency and exposure in L2 enviroment, have been considered in L2 learning, previous studies have investigated the role of critical period effects in L2 learning. The purpose of this is to resolve this issue. Furthermore, the present study addresses whether or not adult L2 learners can achive native-like level. 85 non-native adult L2 learners who had Korean as their L1 rated the acceptability of a regular and irregular past-tense form of each of 131 novel verbs according to how natural as the past tense of the verb. The novel verbs for this study came from Albright & Hayes(2003). The linear regression analyses with R 3.3.1 was conducted for data statistically. It revealed significant between the acceptability of a regular and irregular past-tense form of each of novel verbs and phonological similarity to existing regular and irregular past-tense form. We conclude that adult L2 learner who is a certain level of proficiency is available to some aspects of native-like rule system. L2(second language) 습득에 관해 L2 습득을 시작한 나이, L2 능숙도, L2 노출 환경 등 여러 요인은 중요하게 여겨지지만, 대부분의 연구는 결정적 시기 가설(critical period hypothesis)에 기반을 두고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 L2 습득에 관해 중요한 요인이 무엇인지 밝힌다. 게다가, 본 연구는 L2 화자가 L1 화자 수준으로 습득할 수 있는지에 대해 조사한다. 한국어가 모국어인 85명의 성인 L2 화자는 131개의 비단어 과거시제 굴절형에 대해 과거형으로서 얼마나 자연스러운지 평가했다. 본 연구에는 Albright & Hayes(2003)가 사용한 비단어 동사들을 실험 자료로 사용하였다. R 3.3.1을 사용한 선형 회귀분석(linear regression analyses)으로 실험결과들을 검정 통계하였다. 그 결과, L1 화자처럼 규칙 과거형, 불규칙 과거형 어간과 과거시제 굴절형 동사들과의 음운적 유사성에 따라 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 성인 L2는 일부 몇 가지 L2 문법을 L1 화자수준으로 습득과 처리 할 수 있다는 것을 밝혔다. 핵심어: 비단어 과거시제 굴절형, 규칙 동사와 불규칙 동사, 성인 제 2언어 화자,음운적 유사성, 용인 가능성 ，韩语论文，韩语论文网站 |
