본 연구자는 우리 주변에서 현재 실제로 벌어지고 있는 사건, 사람들에게 이슈가 될 만한 사건을 직관적으로 전달해 관객들이 보다 객관적인 입장에서 사건을 바라보고 나름의 가치 판단을 ... 본 연구자는 우리 주변에서 현재 실제로 벌어지고 있는 사건, 사람들에게 이슈가 될 만한 사건을 직관적으로 전달해 관객들이 보다 객관적인 입장에서 사건을 바라보고 나름의 가치 판단을 할 수 있도록 만드는 방식의 연극 작업에 관심을 기울였다. 이런 고민 속에서 미디어에 익숙한 관객들이 연극을 통해 현시대의 이슈를 직관적으로 접하고 고민과 성찰에 이르기 위해선 다큐멘터리적인 기법을 연극에 접목하는 것이 가장 적합한 방법이라는 결론으로 본 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 다큐멘터리란 장르가 매우 포괄적인 개념이라 개인마다 다양한 방식의 기법을 생각할 수 있겠지만 본 연구에서 주로 다룰 다큐멘터리 기법은 다큐멘터리 장르가 픽션계열의 장르와 차별화 되는 일차적인 재료, 즉 현실(reality)을 다룬다는 점에 주목하면서 연극의 허구적 특성과 다큐멘터리의 ‘진실’, ‘사실’의 가치가 어떠한 방법으로 상생될 수 있는지 구체적으로 알아보고자 한다. 이에 본 연구자는 다큐멘터리의 기원과 정의, 다큐멘터리의 기능적 다양성에 대해 알아보고, 다큐멘터리 연극의 역사를 살피면서 기존 다큐멘터리 연극의 실험방식들을 검토하고 나아가 이러한 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 다큐멘터리 연극 <검군전, 후>의 제작과정을 소개, 정리하고자 한다. 본 논문이 현시대의 사회적 이슈를 다루는 연극작업에 관심 있는 분들에게 하나의 사례가 되었으면 하는 바람이 있으며, 향후 ‘다큐멘터리 연극’의 이론적 논의에 비판적인 단초가 되기를 기대해 본다.

This study is focused on the specific approach of theatre that helps the audience to objectively construct their own point of view on actual events by presenting societal issues in an intuitive way. Regarding these points, this research is built upon the conclusion that it is the most appropriate way to incorporate the techniques of documentary to theatre in order to deal with the issues of the present age and to arrive at the level of introspection. Being a comprehensive concept, the genre of documentary could mean different sets of techniques to different individuals. Here, documentary is defined by the fact that it uses reality as its main source of material, which allows to differentiate itself from the genre of fiction. In respect of this use of realty, I attempt to tackle the way in which fictional features of theatre could coexist with the value of “truth” and “reality” in documentary. Accordingly, the origin, definition, and functional diversity of documentary will be investigated, as well as the history of documentary theatre to examine its existing experimentations. Furthermore, based on these studies, this thesis introduces and outlines the production process of After the Story of Geumgun, a documentary theatre piece. As a result, such an approach hopefully would set a precedent for those who are interested in the theatre that deals with social issues, thereby providing a critical fodder to the theoretical discussion on documentary theatre. ，免费韩语论文，韩语论文 |
