현재 온라인상의 한국어 학습사이트가 발전을 거듭하여 다양한 분야로 학습자에게 다가가고 있으나 이용자들이 이용하는 현황에 대해 분석한 자료가 없으며, 이용자들의 실제 이용에 관한 통계자료도 없다.
본 연구는 온라인상의 한국어 학습사이트를 비교분석하여 본 후 실제 이용자가 있는지 여부에 관심을 갖고 접근하게 되었다.
온라인 한국어 학습사이트를 이용하여 한국어를 학습하는 이용자가 얼마나 있는지, 있다면 그 활용은 어느 정도인지 알아보겠다. 만약 이용하지 않는다면 그 이유는 무엇이며 온라인 한국어 학습사이트를 이용할 수 있는 방안이 있는지 살펴보고자 한다.
먼저 인터넷을 검색하여 나타난 온라인상의 한국어 학습사이트를 학습자 위주의 방향으로 비교분석하겠다. 분석 내용을 바탕으로 실제 이용 여부를 설문조사를 통해 확인해보고 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 각 분야별로 분석하였다.
조사기간은 2012. 9. 14. ~ 2012. 10. 15.이다.
조사방법은 설문지를 이용하였으며 설문지는 한국어, 영어, 중국어, 일본어, 태국어, 타갈로그어로 번역하였다. 설문지는 직접 찾아가 전달하기도 하고 이메일로 의뢰하여 조사했으며 다른 한편으론 온라인상의 설문지를 만들어 응답할 수 있도록 하였다.
설문내용은 온라인상의 한국어를 배우는 사이트 관련 설문 문항이며, 응답자 기본 정보를 포함한 총 36문항이다.
조사대상으로는 현재 어떠한 방법으로든 한국어를 접하는 귀화한국인, 결혼이주여성, 한국어 강사, 이주노동자, 한국에 유학 온 외국인 유학생 및 한국어를 배우는 해외거주 한국인과 해외거주 외국인을 대상으로 하였다.
이와 같은 방법으로 조사한 통계를 분석하여 온라인 한국어 학습사이트를 효과적으로 이용할 수 있는 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Currently, on-line Korean learning sites are continuously being improved and being a help to the Korean learners with various areas. However, there is no statistical data for the real use status of the sites. This compares and analyzes on-line Korean learning sites. And then we are interested in whether there are real site users. We find out that how many learners are using the on-line Korean learning sites and how the users utilize them. We also investigate the reasons why some learners are not using the sites.
Based on the results, we examine whether there is more efficient methods for the learners to use the sites.
First, with the Internet searched on-line Korean learning sites, we compare and analyze them with learner's view points.
Based on the analysis, we prepared and collected a survey data to confirm that the actual usage status.
And we evaluate the results using a statistical program tool for each area.
We collected the survey data from 9/14/2012 to 10/15/2012. To collect survey data, we provided a set of printed questionnaires with multiple languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Tagalog). The questionnaires are delivered to survey respondents through in person or e-mail. The contents of questionnaire is about on-line Korean learning site related 36 questions including basic information of respondents. The target respondents are currently learning or contacting Korean language such as naturalized Korean, married immigrant women, Korean teachers, immigrant workers, foreign students in Korea, Korean living in foreign countries, or foreigners living in foreign countries. Based on the survey data and the data analysis, we propose a solution to the effective use of on-line Korean learning sites.
