This thesis studies the employment supporting plan of female marriage immigrants in Chungbuk region. We analysis the present status and actual condition of female marriage immigrants, the operating status and problem of the employment supporting service for their economic activity through the previous literatures relating this field.
Domestic Industry demand outlook, in addition to Chung-Buk region’s industrial characteristics and Korean Standard Classification of Occupations were applied in choosing the suitable occupation for the female marriage immigrants in Chungbuk region. As the resulting, total 13 occupational groups in 6 occupational categories were selected. For each of the 6 occupational categories, the level of skill required has been noted, and Korean language ability required in terms of each occupational categories was remarked as the grade of Korean language ability provided by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation. The applied regions for the selected occupational group were also divided into three different types, which include rural, urban and mixed. Furthermore, the Education and Training required each occupational group were marked whether it needed vocational training and employ ability skills.
Viewing the time it takes female marriage immigrants to adapt to the Korean society as a transfer of occupations or a transition from a former employer, we suggested the new former employee supporting model for effectively operation of the vocational education program. This model includes 5 steps such as adaptation training, course evaluation, education and training, career information exploration, appraisal and selection of occupation. Each step’s detailed information has been noted separately.
In addition, development of customized-programs and operational methods have been suggested for the human resources development, in an effort to effectively connect the female marriage immigrants to employment.
In order to accomplish this, we proposed that close examination and analysis of regional manpower demands, systematization of program development progress procedure, systematic management of vocational education program development process and/or program operation as well as program evaluation and revisions would be needed.
We proposed the employment supporting model and the employment supporting plan of employable occupations for female marriage immigrants in Chungbuk region. Also, we suggested the local governance model of employment supporting, which is organized to the administrative agencies, research institutes, education and training institutes, and companies, etc.
This thesis is meaningful in that it provides an opportunity for the female marriage immigrants in Chungbuk take a step closer towards becoming a member of the Korean society, as it facilitate their economic activity through the operating customized-vocational training program appropriate for the suitable occupations to them.

본 연구에서는 충북지역 여성결혼이민자의 취업지원 방안을 연구하였다. 이를 위해서 주제와 관련된 문헌연구를 통해 여성결혼이민자의 현황과 실태, 그리고 여성결혼이민자의 경제활동을 위한 취업지원서비스의 운영 실태와 문제점을 분석하였다. 국내 산업수요전망과 충북지역 산업특성, 그리고 한국표준직업분류를 적용하여 충북지역 여성결혼이민자에게 적합한 직업이 6개 직종에 13개 직업군으로 선정되었다. 6개 직종별로 필요한 직무능력을 명시하였으며, 또한 각 직종에 필요한 한국어 능력수준을 한국교육과정평가원에서 제시한 한국어능력수준의 급수로 표기하였다. 선정된 직업군의 적용지역을 3개의 유형(도시형, 농촌형, 혼합형)으로 분류하였으며, 각 직업군을 직업훈련과 직업기초소양교육이 필요한 분야의 직업으로 분류하였다. 그리고 여성결혼이민자가 한국사회에 정착하는 과정을 전직이나 직업 전환의 과정으로 보고, 효율적인 직업교육 프로그램 운영을 위한 새로운 전직지원모형을 제안하였다. 이 전직지원 모형은 적응훈련, 진로탐색, 교육 및 훈련, 직업정보탐색, 평가 및 미래의 선택지 등 5단계로 나뉘어 각 단계별 세부 내용을 제시하였다. 또한 충북지역 여성결혼이민자의 인적자원을 개발하여 효과적으로 취업과 연계시키기 위한 맞춤형 프로그램의 개발과 운영방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해서 지역수요에 대한 면밀한 조사와 분석, 프로그램 개발 추진절차의 체계화, 취업훈련 프로그램 개발과정 및 프로그램 운영의 체계적인 관리, 프로그램 평가와 개선 등이 필요하다고 제안하였다. 또한 충북지역 여성결혼이민자를 위한 취업지원 단계 모형과 취업 가능한 직업에 대한 취업지원 방안을 모색하였다. 그리고 행정기관, 연구기관, 교육 및 훈련기관, 사업체 등이 참여하는 취업지원을 위한 지역협치 모델을 제시하였다.
본 논문은 충북지역 여성결혼이민자들의 안정적인 취업을 이끌어내기 위한 적합한 직종을 선정하고, 그것에 맞는 맞춤형 취업훈련 프로그램 운영을 통해 그들의 활발한 경제활동을 촉진함으로써, 그들이 진정한 한국사회의 일원으로서 정착할 수 있도록 기회를 제공하는데 그 의미가 있다.
