A Study on the Effect of Restorative Discipline Program on Community Consciousness Heejin Park Department of Negotiation Graduate School of Business Danguk University Advisor : Professor Haklin Kim. This study is an empirical research, to test an effect which restorative discipline has on school community Consciousness. It targeted all of the grade 7 students of Y middle school during the free semester system, and conducted the experiment of 14 sessions (14 hours) after dividing grade 7 into 2 classes of experimental group, and 4 classes of control group. Control group was taught restorative discipline by researchers and instructors while control group was taught each subject after divided into science, art, computer and history classes. Questionnaires were used as a experimental measurement tool, and pretest and post test were done. The community Consciousness test used for pretest and post test was composed of questionnaires complemented by the researcher based on Sense of Community Index developed by Chavis, Hogge, McMillan & Wanderman (1986). T-test of independent sample was done to confirm whether there was homogeneity between experiment group and control group before and after restorative discipline to analyze research problems. Also T-test of matching sample was done to know the mean difference of experiment group and control group before and after restorative discipline. The research was designed before and after restorative discipline for experiment group and control group. The restorative discipline program was done with 'Meeting in a Circle' program; a conflict transformation program for youth, based on restorative justice paradigm developed by Korean Peace Education Training Center, and Kyongkido Youth Counseling Service Center. The program was made up of 14 sessions, and each session lasted 45 minutes. The students experienced the process of restorative justice, a nonviolent and cooperative conflict transformation way, practiced a restorative perspective exercise and a peaceful community in the circle process. To find efficacy of a restorative discipline, this study first hypothesised that the experiment group participating in a restorative discipline would have a higher school community Consciousness than that of the control group. This study than was carried out to prove the hypothesis. The result of analysis is as follows. The experiment group participating a restorative discipline showed a more meaningful difference than a control group in terms of altruism, satisfaction and integration of their desires and emotional relatedness among subscale of school community Consciousness. Also, as a result of pretest and post test of school community Consciousness in the experiment group, the scores of subscale such as altruism, influential institutions, satisfaction and integration of their desires and emotional relatedness was improved meaningfully. The result has an implication as follows. Firstly, a restorative discipline is effective in school communal character and its subscale such as altruism, influential institutions, satisfaction and integration of their desires and emotional relatedness. Secondly, a restorative discipline is effective in adolescent period which goes through a qualitative change of social relations. Thirdly, a restorative discipline has a positive effect on mutual respect, restoration of damage, voluntary responsibility and restoration of school community after restoration of relations. Fourthly, a restorative discipline has a positive effect on building relations due to factors of trust and empathy. Finally, a restorative discipline based on restorative justice moves on to a restorative process and integration of community after improving relations based on building relations through culture of mutual respect and . A restorative discipline focuses on victims who are alienated from the accident and can move on to restoration of school community after going through conflict transformation in the process of putting stress on assailant's volutary responsibility and their restoration of relations
이 연구는 회복적 생활교육이 학교 공동체 의식에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 실증연구로서 자유학기제 기간에 Y여자중학교 1학년 전체를 대상으로 실험집단 두 학급과 통제집단 네 학급... 이 연구는 회복적 생활교육이 학교 공동체 의식에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 실증연구로서 자유학기제 기간에 Y여자중학교 1학년 전체를 대상으로 실험집단 두 학급과 통제집단 네 학급으로 나누어 14회기(14시간)동안 실험을 실시하였다. 실험집단은 연구자와 강사가 회복적 생활교육을 각각 진행하였고, 통제집단은 과학, 컴퓨터, 미술, 역사 반으로 각 교과동아리 수업이 이루어 졌다. 실험 측정도구는 설문지를 이용하여 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사에 사용된 공동체 의식 검사는 가장 일반적으로 사용하는 Chavis, Hogge, McMillan & Wanderman(1986)에 의해 개발된 공동체 의식 지표(Sense of Community Index)를 토대로 연구자가 보완하여 구성하였다. 연구문제의 분석을 위해 회복적 생활교육 전과 후에 실험집단과 통제집단의 동질성 여부를 확인하기 위해 독립표본 t 검증을 적용해 확인하였고, 또한 전과 후의 실험집단과 통제집단의 평균 차이를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 연구 설계는 실험집단과 통제집단 사전-사후 집단 설계이다. 회복적 생활교육 프로그램은 경기도청소년상담복지센터와 한국평화교육훈련원에서 개발한 ‘회복적정의 패러다임에 기초한 청소년 갈등전환 프로그램-둥글게 만나기’프로그램을 바탕으로 진행했다. 서클활동(Circle process)을 중심으로 회복적 정의의 과정 이해, 비폭력적·협력적 갈등전환 방법을 경험하고, 회복적 관점의 실천을 연습하였으며 평화적인 공동체를 경험하는 과정으로 1회기당 45분씩 총 14회기를 진행했다. 이 연구는 회복적 생활교육이 학교 공동체 의식에 미치는 효과를 실증적으로 알아보기 위해 ‘회복적 생활교육에 참여한 실험집단은 그렇지 않은 통제집단보다 학교 공동체 의식이 높을 것이다’는 가설을 세운 후 이를 검증하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 회복적 생활교육에 참여한 실험집단은 그렇지 않은 통제집단에 비해 학교 공동체 의식 하위요인 중 이타성, 욕구충족과 통합, 정서적 유대가 통제집단보다 유의미한 차이를 보여 주었다. 또한, 실험집단 내의 학교 공동체 의식 사전-사후 결과, 이타성, 상호영향력, 욕구충족과 통합, 정서적 유대의 하위요인이 점수가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 이 결과는 다음과 같은 함의를 지닌다. 첫째, 회복적 생활교육은 학교 공동체 의식과 그 하위요인인 이타성, 상호영향력, 욕구충족 및 통합, 정서적 유대 향상에 효과적이다. 둘째, 회복적 생활교육은 사회적 관계의 질적 변화가 있는 청소년기에 효과적이다. 셋째, 회복적 생활교육은 상호존중, 피해의 회복, 자발적 책임, 관계의 회복 이후 학교 공동체의 회복에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 회복적 생활교육은 신뢰, 공감 등의 요인으로 관계형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 결국, 회복적 정의에 기초한 회복적 생활교육은 서로 간에 상호존중 하는 문화를 토대로 관계형성을 기초로 관계를 개선하고 공동체의 통합 및 회복의 절차를 거친다. 회복적 생활교육은 사건에서 소외되어 있는 피해자에게 초점을 맞추고, 가해자의 자발적 책임과 이들의 관계회복 과정에서 갈등전환을 경험하고 학교 공동체의 회복으로 나아갈 수 있다. ，韩语论文题目，韩语论文题目 |
