Korea has been steadily increasing every year as foreign tourists who visited Korea for the first time in 2012 recorded 10 million. Since Seoul Tourist Police Unit has launched on October 2013 and Incheon/Busan Tourist Police have established on July 2014 respectively. Considering the relatively short terms of tourist police activity, the study is to analyze management status and role of tourist police system and to suggest more effective operation strategies for the satisfaction of foreign tourists’ needs. Moreover, the purpose of this study is to discuss the implications and limitations of the role of tourist police officers who are currently serving for foreign tourists. The main results of the research are as following: Firstly, institutional characteristics of tourist police can be explained by the specialized duty and organizational system. Specialized duty is to provide tourist-oriented particular services to solve tourists’ problems on the site such as guidance, settlement of complaints, interpretation, etc. including locals within the jurisdiction of each tourist police. Secondly, the job characteristics of tourist police can be summarized as cyclical work, visiting services, and softening of duties. Lastly, the identity and compensation system can be divided into duty and organizational identity, compensation system, and cooperation system. According to the response of domestic and foreign tourists against tourist police, domestic people who work in tourism related industry show the negative reaction while foreign tourists regard tourist police as very glad, thankful and essential being. Tourist police recognize that tourism police play a significant role in improving the image of Korea, promoting publicity, and increasing the number of visitors.
우리나라를 방문하는 외래 관광객 수는 2012년에 1천만 명 시대에 진입한 이후로 매년 꾸준하게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 외래 관광객 2,000만 명 시대를 앞두고, 본 연구는 지난 2013년 10... 우리나라를 방문하는 외래 관광객 수는 2012년에 1천만 명 시대에 진입한 이후로 매년 꾸준하게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 외래 관광객 2,000만 명 시대를 앞두고, 본 연구는 지난 2013년 10월 서울관광경찰대를 시작으로 2014년 7월 인천관광경찰대와 부산 관광경찰대를 각각 발족하여 운용한지 서울관광경찰대는 3년, 인천과 부산관광경찰대는 각각 2년이 지난 시점에서 관광경찰 운영 실태와 역할에 대하여 분석하고 문제점을 찾아 특성에 맞는 보다 효과적인 관광경찰을 운영하기 위한 제안을 하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 우선 서울과 인천관광경찰대 경찰관을 중심으로 관광경찰의 역할과 한계를 분석하고 관광경찰제도의 개선방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서 현재 근무 중인 관광경찰을 대상으로 그들이 인지하고 있는 관광경찰 역할의 의미와 한계에 대하여 심층면담 방식을 이용한 질적 연구를 통하여 바람직한 관광경찰 역할의 개선방향에 대하여 논의하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 관광경찰의 특성으로서 제도적 특성은 전문화와 조직체계 상의 특성으로 설명할 수 있다. 전문화는 각 관광경찰의 관할지역 내에서 내국인을 포함한 관광객들에게 길안내, 불편사항에 대한 민원처리, 통역 등을 현장에서 해결해주는 관광객 중심의 전문화된 서비스를 제공한다는 점이다. 둘째, 관광경찰의 직무 특성은 순환근무, 찾아가는 서비스, 직무의 소프트(soft)화로 요약할 수 있다. 셋째로 정체성 및 보상체계는 직무·조직의 정체성, 보상체계, 협력체계로 세분하여 볼 수 있다. 관광경찰에 대한 내·외국인의 반응 및 관광경찰 발전방안에 대한 내용으로 내국인 중 관광관련업종 종사자들은 관광경찰에 대해 부정적인 반응을 보이는 것으로 나타난 반면, 외래관광객들의 경우에는 관광경찰에 대하여 매우 반갑고, 고맙고, 꼭 필요한 존재로 반응하는 것으로 나타났다. 관광경찰은 우리나라의 이미지 개선 및 홍보효과, 관광객 재방문율 증가에도 관광경찰이 상당한 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 인식하고 있다. ，免费韩语论文，韩语论文题目 |
