최근 몇 년 도안 세계적으로 많은 도시의 현대화과정은 낡은 건축을 무너뜨리는 것이 아니라 역사가 살아있는 지역에 새로운 생명을 주입하는 형식으로 진행되고 있다. 도시 문맥의 연속성... 최근 몇 년 도안 세계적으로 많은 도시의 현대화과정은 낡은 건축을 무너뜨리는 것이 아니라 역사가 살아있는 지역에 새로운 생명을 주입하는 형식으로 진행되고 있다. 도시 문맥의 연속성을 존중하면서 재순환, 재활용과 지속 가능한 발전을 추구하는 이념이 환영받는 것이다. 본 논문은 중국 상하이 M50와 한국 부산 감천문화마을 이 두 사례를 선택하여 비교, 분석하였다. 이 두 사례를 선택하게 된 이유는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 이 두 가지 사례는 중국과 한국 두 나라의 도시재생발전사례 중에서 모두 매우 성공적인 사례이고 해마다 대량의 관광객들을 유치해 당지의 관광업 발전을 촉진하고 경제발전을 이끌고 있으며 나아가 당지의 문화특색과 브랜드로 거듭나고 있다. 둘째, 상하이와 부산은 모두 연해도시에 속하며 각각 한국과 중국의 중요한 경제 무역항구 도시로서 지리적 위치와 경제적 역할에서 두 도시는 매우 높은 유사성을 띄고 있다. 셋째, 상하이 M50은 폐기된 낡은 공장을 혁신하여 재활용한 산업유산발전으로 분류되지만 부산감천문화마을은 문화유산에 분류되어 도시 재생건설에서 많은 유사한 점과 다른 점이 존재한다. 이 두 도시에 대한 분석을 통하여 한국과 중국의 도시 재생발전건설 중의 부분적 공통점과 차이점을 요해할 수 있으며 그 장점을 중국의 기타 도시의 재생발전에 응용할 수 있다. 본 논문은 주요하게 역사적, 경제적, 정소적, 문화적, 사회적 등 5개 방면으로부터 출발하여 상하이 M50과 부산 감천문화마을을 비교하였으며, 아래와 같은 두 도시의 재생발전 공통점과 차이점에 관한 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 두 가지의 공통점이 있다. 하나는 이 두 사례는 발전초기에 모두 민간에서 자발적으로 조직되어 추진되었으며 일정한 초기 형태가 형성된 후 정부에서 참여하였다. 다른 하나는 두 도시는 모두 당지 기존의 건축 및 특색을 보호하는 토대 위에 당지 기존의 자원과 우세 특점을 유리하게 결합, 이용하여 새로운 혁신과 개발을 하고 새로운 생명을 불어 넣었다. 차이점도 두 측면으로 나뉘어 졌다. 하나는 문화면에서 부산 감천문화마을은 태극도 문화를 한층 많이 활용하여 전통문화 요소가 아주 풍부하여 상하이는 그 자체가 융합성이 강한 도시로서 M50발전과 재건에서 다문화라는 특징을 한층 살려 단지 내에 들어서면 다국적인 문화요소를 많이 느낄 수 있다. 다음으로 문화행사면에서 다른 점이 있다. 부산감천문화마을은 해마다 부동한 테마의 마을미술프로젝트를 진행하지만 상하이M50은 축제를 위주로 하고 있다. 부산 감천문화마을과 상하이 M50에 대한 분석을 통하여 한국 도시재생발전 중에서의 중국과의 부동한 점을 배울 수 있으며 이를 중국의 기타 도시 재건사업에 더 잘 응용할 수 있다.

Modernization in a host of metropolises is characterized by infusing a new life into ancient areas instead of demolishing ancient architectures in recent years. It has aroused an extensive consensus that respecting context continuity of the city, paying attention to reuse, recycle and sustainable development is indispensible to a city. This employs Shanghai M50 Creative Business Park and Gamcheon Culture Village as two typical cases for a comparative study to find out underlying mechanism. Two examples are preferred for the following reasons: first and foremost, both of them are successful model in terms of urban regeneration. Tourists are attracted to pay a visit in flocks which contributes to the local tourism industry and promotes the development of economy. What’s more, it stimulates a formation of unique cultural feature and brand locally. Subsequently, Shanghai and Busan, as one of most important coastal cities in China and South Korea, play an irreplaceable role in trading and highly resemble each other considering its geographical location and economical status in two countries. Lastly, M50 is classified as industrial inheritance since it’s used to be an abandoned factory, while Gamcheon Culture Village belongs to cultural inheritance. Regarding numerous similarities and differences in two cities, it’s possible to learn more about commonalities and discrepancies in the midst of urban regeneration in two countries through a comparative approach and apply its advantages to other cities in China. This aims to make a contrastive study of M50 and Gamcheon from 5 different perspectives—historical, economical, placeness, cultural and social, respectively. Both have two things in common as below: firstly, a very spontaneous in early stage, government began to get involved after organization was formed. Apart from that, innovation and development are carried out based upon preservation of original architectures and features, taking advantage of resources. There are two differences as well. To begin with, in respect of culture, Gamcheon embodies Taiji Taoism, teeming with traditional element. On the other side, Shanghai demonstrates multi-cultural integration amid reconstruction of M50 which enable people to experience fusion of culture. In addition, cultural activities are distinct as Gamcheon has a particular theme annually, such as magic festival, but M50 mainly focuses on celebration.
