본 연구는 한국어를 제2언어로 학습하는 고급 수준의 외국인 학습자에게 유용 할 평가 문항 및 평가 주제를 개발하는 데에 있다. 국내 대학으로 진학하거나 전문업에 종사하고자 하는 외국... 본 연구는 한국어를 제2언어로 학습하는 고급 수준의 외국인 학습자에게 유용 할 평가 문항 및 평가 주제를 개발하는 데에 있다. 국내 대학으로 진학하거나 전문업에 종사하고자 하는 외국인 학습자의 증가에 따라 학문 목적 및 취업 목 적을 위한 고급 수준의 쓰기에 대한 중요성이 점차 증가 되었다. 그에 따라 고 급 학습자를 대상으로 한 쓰기 문항과 주제의 선정에 대한 연구와 관련 교재가 개발되었는데, 기존 한국어 교육기관에서 사용하는 고급 수준의 교재와 한국어 능력시험(TOPIK)에서 경제(산업), 과학, 문화, 예술, 심리, 문학, 세계, 한국사회, 역사, 건강, 직업, 교육의 주제를 다루나 한국 사회의 문화적 특성과 가치관에 대한 이해를 요하는 문항은 부족하였다. 고급 수준의 학습자는 초, 중급의 학습자와는 달리 전문 분야에 필요한 연구, 업무에 필요한 언어기능과 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등 사회적 주제에 대한 쓰기 능력을 요하며, 한국 사회를 구성하고 있는 가치관과 문화적 특성에 대한 이해 를 바탕으로 한 문화적 문식성을 갖추어야 한다. 본고에서는 이를 위해 기존 한 국어 교육 기관에서 사용하고 있는 고급 학습자를 위한 글쓰기 교재의 단원 주 제를 분석하고 수준에 맞는 어휘, 문법, 문항 텍스트의 주제에 대한 학습 목표 및 글쓰기 평가 기준을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 활용하여 한국 사회의 유교문 화, 가족주의와 집단주의, 다종교, 시장 경제, 대중문화에 대한 문항 주제를 제 시한 뒤, 이를 적용한 고급 학습자를 위한 쓰기 평가 문항을 제안하였다.

The purpose of the present study was to develop test questions and topics useful for advanced foreign learners learning Korean as a second language. The importance of advanced level of writing for academic and employment purposes has been gradually increased as the number of foreign learners who want to either enter into a domestic university or work in a professional job increases. Accordingly, research and related teaching materials for advanced learners have been developed, and even though the advanced teaching materials used in existing Korean language educational institutions and Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) deal with the topics of economy (industry), science, culture, art, psychology, literature, world, South Korean society, history, health, occupations, and education, questions that require an understanding of the cultural characteristics and values of the Korean Society were lacking. Unlike novice or intermediate learners, advanced learners are required of research abilities in their professional fields, language skills needed for work, writing abilities on social topics such as politics, economy, society, and culture, and must have cultural literacy based on the understanding of the values and cultural characteristics that make up the Korean Society. The present study attempted to analyze unit topics of writing instructional materials for advanced learners being used by Korean language educational institutions and find out learning objectives and writing evaluation criteria on level-appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and the topics of question texts.
