Besides, the study may also carry implication to Chinese students develop stronger cultural awareness, and know better about the similarities and differences of indirect refusal in both their native tongue and Korean. All these may eventually contribute to successful cross-cultural communication. As greetings are a very common and regular behavior in people's daily life of every country and nation, greetings become one of the language formats which people use most frequently everyday. Therefore, this discussed the drama of the day-to-day practical session as the object of analysis, and based on the Korean and Chinese polite greetings to compare the detailed analysis and comparison.
