현재 한국어 교육 기관의 쓰기 수업은 한정된 시간동안 다룰 수 있는 양이 많지 않아 과제로 대체하거나 단편적인 내용들만 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 한국어 고급 단계 학습자들의 쓰기 수업을 위한 문제 중심 학습(PBL) 모형을 활용한 한국어 고급 단계 쓰기 교육 방안을 제안하고자 하였다.
이를 위해 1장에서는 문제 중심 학습(PBL)과 한국어 고급 쓰기 교육 방안의 목적과 필요성과 선행연구를 살펴보았다.
2장에서는 문제 중심 학습(PBL)의 기본이 되는 이론인 구성주의와 문제 중심 학습(PBL)의 개념 및 유형, 그리고 절차를 살펴보았다.
3장에서는 쓰기 교육 이론의 변화를 살펴보고 한국어 고급 쓰기와 문제 중심 학습(PBL)의 연계성을 살펴보았다.
4장에서는 한국어 교육기관의 쓰기 교재를 Finocchiaro(1979)의 의사소통 기능 분류 방식으로 분석하여 쓰기 교재에 많이 사용하는 기능은 무엇인지 살펴보았다.
5장에서는 지금까지 살펴본 내용을 토대로 한국어 고급 쓰기 수업을 위한 문제 중심 학습(PBL)을 설계하고 교육 방안을 제시하였다.
마지막으로 6장에서는 지금까지 논의하고 제시한 내용을 다시 정리하고 문제 중심 학습(PBL)을 활용한 한국어 고급 쓰기 교육의 중요성을 강조한 뒤 결론을 짓고 보완해야 할 점을 제시하였다.
