이 논문은 한국어와 베트남어의 호칭어를 연구 대상으로 하고 있다. 한국어와 베트남어의 호칭어의 유형과 쓰임을 밝히고 공통점과 차이점을 비교분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이 연구에서 논의된 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다.
제1장에서는 이 논문의 연구 목적과 학자들의 선행 연구 성과를 검토하고, 연구 방법을 제시하였다.
제2장에서는 지칭어와 구분된 호칭어에 대한 학자들의 개념을 검토해 보고 유형을 살펴보았다.
제3장에서는 유형별로 한․베 호칭어를 대조 분석을 하였다. 이 장에서는 주로 친족 호칭어, 이름 호칭어, 대명사 호칭어, 직함/직업 호칭어 그리고 통칭형 호칭어 5 가지로 나누고 유형별로 살펴보았다.
제4장에는 일상생활에서 베트남어 한국 학습자와 한국어 베트남 학습자가 자주 접할 수 있는 상황(주로 가족에서, 대학교에서, 직장에서 그리고 길거리, 식당, 가게 등의 자리에서)을 선택하여 그 상황에서 한․베 양국의 화자들이 호칭어를 어떻게 사용하는지를 검토하고 대조 분석하였다.
한국어와 베트남어의 호칭어를 비교 분석하고 공통점과 차이점을 밝히려 한 이 연구가 학습자들에게 유익한 참고 자료가 되고 양국의 호칭어를 잘 이해하고 바르게 사용하는 데 도움이 되기 바란다. 앞으로도 이 영역에 대한 더욱 더 심층적인 연구들이 이어지길 기대한다.

This thesis focuses on the address terms in Korean and Vietnamese. The purpose of this thesis is to reveal the type of analysis in writing, present how to used the address terms and compare the similarities and differences of address terms of Korean and Vietnamese. The studies are presented in detail as follows.
In the first chapter, the writer presented the Introduction of this to review the results of research and leading scholars and research methods.
In the second chapter, the writer examined the concepts of address terms which were distinguished from reference terms based on the ideas of the researchers and analysed its types.
In the third chapter, the writer analyzed Korean and Vietnamese address terms contrast with each type. In this chapter, address terms were divided into 5 types : relatives address terms, name address terms, pronouns address terms, title-job address terms and common address terms.
Finally, in the four chapter 4, the writer chose situations which students often encounter in everyday life(mainly in the family, the school and workplace or either places like street, restaurant, stores) and then researched and compared how to used the address terms of Korean and Vietnamese in that situations.
This research tried to compare and analyze address terms of Korean and Vietnamese. It found out similarities and differences of the two reference materials. The writer really hopes that the thesis will be beneficial for the students and help them to have a good understanding of proper use of address terms in the future. I expect to see more in depth studies and researches in this area.
