본 연구는 ‘새로운 대중문화 콘텐츠를 포함한 문화항목 분류의 틀’을 마련하고, 이러한 분류의 틀에 따라 '대중문화 콘텐츠를 활용하여 중․고급 수준의 외국인 대학생을 위한 문화 교양교재에 필요한 문화교수 요목을 제시하는 것’을 목적으로 한다.
연구의 결과 첫째, 교재의 분석과 델파이 조사를 통하여 ‘대중문화’, ‘전통예술문화’, ‘정신문화’, ‘언어문화’, ‘생활문화’, ‘사회문화’, “기타” 등 7개의 대분류 항목과 ‘대중가요/댄스/공연/K-POP’, ‘대중미술/만화/사진/웹’, ‘영화/TV드라마/TV 프로그램’, ‘신문/광고/기사/인터넷’, ‘대중예술/퓨전’ 등 최근의 대중문화 내용을 담을 수 있는 ‘기타’를 포함한 29개의 세부항목을 도출하여 ‘새로운 대중문화 콘텐츠를 포함한 문화항목 분류의 틀’을 마련하였다.
둘째, 새로운 문화항목 분류의 틀에 따라 <공연> 조용필-hello(bounce)을 활용한 팬클럽문화(오빠부대) 소개, <TV드라마> 학교 2013(2013, KBS 2TV)을 활용한 학교 교실문화 소개, <리얼리티쇼> 슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다(2014, KBS2)를 활용한 미역국(생일)먹는 풍습 등 문화항목별로 문화 교수요목을 대중문화 콘텐츠를 활용하여 선정하여 제시하였다. 그리고 선정된 콘텐츠를 활용한 문화 교수요목을 등급별 위계순서를 고려하여 재배열함으로써 중급과 고급 교재로 적용할 수 있게 하였다.
본 연구는 연구자가 제안한 ‘한국 문화내용 분류의 틀’을 전문가들로부터 합의를 이끌어 완성한 점이 시사하는 바가 크다. 또한 ‘문화항목 분류의 틀’에 최근의 대중문화 내용을 담아서 외국인 유학생을 위한 문화 교수요목으로 완성하여 제안했다는데 의의가 있다.
This research provides a classification framework for new cultural items, including popular cultural contents. The objective of the research is to choose the contents of cultural education, in terms of cultural items, by using popular cultural contents and to propose a syllabus for foreign college students.
In the end of the study, first, seven main categories: Pop Culture, Traditional Art and Culture, Spiritual Culture, Language and Culture, Living Culture, Society and Culture, and Others, and twenty-nine detail items: contents/item, pop/dance/performance/k-pop, Pop Art/comics/photos/picture/web, movies/TV drama/TV program, News/advertisement/article/internet, Pop Art/fusion (which can have recent popular cultural contents) and Others, were derived from textbook analysis and Delphi Technique to present classification for cultural items in inclusion of new popular culture contents.
Secondly, new cultural items’ classification framework introduces the contents of cultural education by using popular cultural contents. For example, in use of <performance> Cho-Yong-Pil’s “Hello(bounce)” to introduce fan culture(groupie), <TV drama> School 2013(2013, KBS 2TV) to introduce school and classroom culture of Korea, and <reality show> Superman is back(2014, KBS2) to introduce Korean custom of having Sea Mustard Soup for birthday celebration. Also, those selected items in implication of cultural contents are rearranged in Graded and Hierarchical Order to be applicable in intermediate & advanced level textbook.
This research is largely regarded using Delphi Technique by researchers, whose consensus is to propose Korean cultural contents of classification of frameworks. In sum, this research is significant in proposing classification of framework for cultural item for new popular cultural contents and syllabus for foreign college students in use of popular cultural contents.
