본 연구는 학습자 중심 한국어 수업의 일환으로 대중가요를 활용한 한국어 특별 수업의 실제 모형을 제시하고 학습 효과를 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 수업 목적에 맞춰 대중가요 선정 방안을 세우고, 초, 중급 한국어 특별 수업 학습자를 대상으로 수업을 실증하는 과정을 통해 학습 효과와 보완점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a Korean teaching model for short-term Korean students and Korean special course students by learning K-POP songs. This model based on Learner-centered study. The K-POP list is selected by study goal and the model is improved by demonstrate learning to Korean beginners and intermediate students.
In Chapter 1 Introduction, Korean students and Korean education changing by K-POP population is presented. Needs of Learner-centered Korean special course by using K-POP music is submitted.
In Chapter 2, the theoretical background and needs of Learner-centered communicative study is presented. Factors why Learner-centered study is hard to apply on real Korean study and problems are considered. And the reason why Korean special course by using K-POP music has advantage of Learner-centered study and the cases are examined.
In Chapter 3, Cases of Korean course using K-POP music are considered by the class level and education area. How to choose and use K-POP songs, what is effective way to teaching Korean is examined. K-POP category, class activities, etc. are presented, either.
In Chapter 4, K-POP list selection and real study model for Korean special course by using K-POP music is presented. The list is chose for Korean beginners and intermediate students and selected by student survey. The model built by the list and educational theories and demonstrated through real Korean classes and analyzed by student satisfaction surveys.
In Chapter 5 conclusion, research process and the significance of this study is summarized. And the insufficiency part and limits of this study is verified and the part of following studies are suggested.
