본 연구는 한국어를 학습하는 한국어 학습자들을 위하여 고유명사 목록을 선정하고 이를 문어말뭉치의 용례를 확인하여 고유명사 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.
한국어 학습자들의 최종적인 목표는 한국 사람과의 자유로운 의사소통을 하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 고유명사는 그 동안 교육적 가치가 간과되어 왔지만 자유로운 의사소통을 위해서 문화교육과 더불어 꼭 필요한 어휘부류라고 할 수 있다. 고유명사는 한국인에게 통용되는 의미와 상황 맥락적 의미가 더해지기 때문에 한국인의 의식에 내재화되어 있고, 한국인끼리 알 수 있는 암묵적 합의라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 한국어 고유명사를 한국어 학습용 기본어휘에서 고유명사 목록과 한국의 의무교육 과정인 초등학교 교과서에서 추출하여 고유명사를 선정하였다. 하지만 교과서에 나와 있는 모든 고유명사를 선정할 수는 없기 때문에 교육적 가치가 있는 것을 21세기 세종계획 말뭉치를 통해서 선별하였다. 또한 충분한 객관성과 타당성을 확보하기 위해 고유명사들을 유형별로 분류하여 고유명사를 제시하는 방법을 제안하였다.
이에 본 연구는 다음과 같은 순서로 진행하였다.
먼저 Ⅰ장에서는 본 연구의 필요성 및 목적을 밝히고, 본 연구를 위한 선행 연구들은 국어학, 한국어교육, 사전학에서의 고유명사들을 정리하고 살펴보았다. 또한 본 논문의 연구 방법을 밝혔다.
Ⅱ장에서는 고유명사 교육의 필요성과 고유명사의 개념 및 고유명사의 유형에 대해 알아보았다.
다음 Ⅲ장에서는 고유명사의 목록 선정의 기준의 기준과 목록 선정에 대한 대상으로 국립국어원(2003) 학습용 기본어휘와 초등학교 교과서 21세기 세종계획 문어 말뭉치 고유명사 용례를 살펴보았다. 제시한 기준에 따라 초등학교 1학년부터 6학년까지의 전 교과서에서 고유명사를 추출하고 실질적인 용례를 밝혔다.
Ⅳ장에서는 한국어 고유명사 목록으로 고유명사의 유형을 나누고 제시 방안 다섯 가지를 기술하였다.
마지막으로 V장에서는 연구를 마무리하면서 본 연구에 대한 의의를 밝히고 한계점을 언급하였다.
본 연구에서 제시한 고유명사 어휘가 한국어 교재 구성이나 외국인을 위한 학습용 어휘 목록을 구성하는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다. 그리고 본 연구를 토대로 고유명사를 외국인에게 한국어 학습 목적과 필요에 따라서 제시하는 것까지 기대할 수 있다.

One of the fundamental goals of the Korean learners can be said to communicate with native Koreans without any misapprehension. In order to achieve the goal, it is undeniably necessary fact to understand the Proper noun meaning in the sentence. For a while, the proper noun is ignored but it is necessary for free communication with culture.
Proper noun is tacit knowledge in Korean culture so Korean learns are hard to understand proper noun without special learning also proper noun add situation and context meaning. Therefore, the Proper noun should be included in Korean teaching-learning situation, and the level and purpose of the learners should be considered to apply them to the syllabuses or contents of lessons.
In the study, to select proper noun for Korean learners in elementary school text books but all of proper noun in elementary schools text books are not to be selected. To select proper noun for Korean learners based on the 21st se-jong Korean corpus. Proper noun which select for these method suggest for 4 things(human, thing, space, time).
The study is arranged as follows;
First of all, in Chapter I, the purpose of the study is clarified, and the previous studies are reviewed Korean linguistics, Korean as a foreign language and lexicography. Also, there are these research methods.
In Chapter II, necessity for Proper noun for Korean learners and category for proper noun for Korean learners are discussed.
In Chapter III, the criteria to select proper noun for Korean learners are divided with elementary school text books, the 21st Korean corpus and the basic Korean vocabulary(2003) by the national Institute of the Korean language. With the proposed standard, all the textbooks from the first grade to the sixth grade in elementary schools are investigated to take out Korean proper noun and their usage is discussed.
In Chapter IV, with the selected Korean proper noun, the five methods of proper noun propose is presented.
Finally, in Chapter V, the meaning and the limit of the study are discussed as a conclusion.
These proper noun in this study will be help for basic Korean vocabulary for Korean learners and or the syllabuses or contents of Korean lessons and I expect proper noun will be suggested for purpose for Korean learners based on my study.
